1) Denying CC makes you out to be an idiot, troll or paid disinformation employee.
2) SST's are heating up incredibly fast at this moment, with the full impact yet to be known.
3) We are totally f&%ked.
The more we chop off the proposed route the more we reduce the returns on investing in this rail infrastructure. The ration of black to pink/red on this map is very disappointing.

@sarahvgreenham @GeorgeMonbiot In response to your main thread. Look at education research. Curricula analysis for national school curricula and skills gaps in industry compared with life skills or happiness. Consider UN SDG alignment. I expect this may be interesting reading to you. 2/2
@sarahvgreenham @GeorgeMonbiot Thanks Sarah. George this is a thought provoking thread. I look at higher ed and enviro/sustainability and climate change. Currently CC is not "required" in engineering curricula and sustainability needs much improvement. Please DM me if you want to know more. 1/2
Recent publishing of #theclimatebook by @GretaThunberg has made me think about other wonderful reads on #climatechange
Tell me about your favourite reads? I'll go first...

Excited to share that I've successfully been awarded a @NERC Knowledge Exchange Fellowship. I'll be working at the @unibirmingham on "Delivering an adaptation knowledge pipeline". I'll be posting regular updates about my work here and on LinkedIn
"Most people who died in the floods lived in informal settlements, so again we are seeing how climate change disproportionately impacts the most vulnerable people."

It was great to attend the plaque unveiling to commemorate the 175th anniversary of the @mechengineers at Bromsgrove Station. It was here that local engineers first met to discuss railway engineering, that led to the formation of the institute @SchoolofEng_UoB@bcrre@eps_unibham
