VIDEO | Jammu: BJP leader Zorawar Singh Jamwal called for the government to withdraw its outsourcing policy and demanded a CBI investigation into the ongoing recruitment row.

He said, "BJP is speaking on the basis of facts, and our Leader of Opposition, Sunil Sharma, was the first to expose that this unfair distribution and favoritism is happening. This Omar Abdullah government, which operates with a mindset of nepotism and favoritism, is involved in a recruitment scam of 25,000 jobs, and it was the BJP that exposed it. Otherwise, the common people and educated youth would never have known about it. We would simply ask, Omar government, what compulsion do you have that backdoor recruitment has become necessary? And we are not saying this merely as an opposition party, we have facts to support it. There are 29 departments under Omar Abdullah’s control, and in those 29 departments, around 25,000 jobs have reportedly been filled through relatives and certain contractors..."

VIDEO | BJP leader and Team Jammu Chairman Zorawar Singh Jamwal hailed the 100-day anti-drug campaign launched by LG Manoj Sinha, calling it a major crackdown on narco terror in Jammu and Kashmir.

He said, "This campaign is dealing a massive blow to the narco network and will break its back. In the past 40 days, under the leadership of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, around 70 such houses that drug traffickers had built at great expense to addict the youth have been demolished."

“This is the fourth edition of the Tawi Festival and it is an initiative of the Haritara Charitable Trust. The trust also runs the Amar Mahal Palace, museum and library. The basic purpose has been to showcase and highlight art, culture and paintings from Jammu and Kashmir...
Jammu and Kashmir has a unique history. I have strongly supported the changes that were brought after 2019 and I continue to support them. These changes were much required, though they came late in Jammu and Kashmir. In the rest of India, states were reorganised between 1952 and 1954 and even later in some cases, but in Jammu and Kashmir there was a delay due to various reasons...
As far as the restoration of statehood is concerned, the Prime Minister and the Home Ministry had clearly said that delimitation would be carried out when the time would come, and that has been done. They also stated that statehood for Jammu and Kashmir would be restored at an appropriate time. Looking at past commitments, I am hopeful that when the time is right, statehood will be restored. We need to show some patience. I fully support the restoration of statehood, and it should happen as soon as possible.”
