This picture captures a powerful moment — not just of healing, but of restoration.
A woman who once hid in shame is now smiling again.
A woman who was once isolated is being embraced again.
A woman once broken by a preventable childbirth injury is finding her voice
“For the first time in a long time, I feel happy among people again.” — Aisha, fistula survivor
Dry & Thriving was created to remind women healing from obstetric fistula that recovery is not only physical. It is also emotional, social, and deeply personal.
Through shared stories, music, dance, food, fruits, laughter, and support, the women were encouraged to see life beyond fistula with hope and dignity.
At Raise Foundation, we believe no woman should suffer in silence or isolation while trying to give life.
You are not alone.
This May, you have that same opportunity.

Sometimes, all it takes is one visit to change evrthig
Last year, a woman walked into a free outreach like this—just to “check a small lump” she had been feeling.
She almost didn’t come.
It wasn’t painful. It didn’t seem serious.
But she showed up anyway.
That simple decision changed everything.
The lump was detected early.
On #IWD2026, RAiSE Foundation donated a tricycle ambulance to Makusidi PHC, Wushishi LGA, Niger State! 🚑 Helping rush pregnant women in labor to safety — because every mother matters. Give to gain safer motherhood! 💙 #MaternalHealth#GiveToGain#RAiSEFoundation

She deserves to live with dignity. Not in silence. Not in shame.
Obstetric fistula — a heartbreaking condition caused by prolonged, obstructed labour without timely medical help — leaves thousands of Nigerian women leaking urine or faeces uncontrollably.
At RAiSE Foundation, we are turning pain into power:
Providing free fistula repair surgeries at the Dr. Amina Bello Women Health Center in Kontagora
Offering post-surgery care, rehabilitation, and empowerment programs.
Helping women heal physically, emotionally, and
Self-breast examination helps women know what’s normal for them and spot changes early.
It’s simple, free, and empowering—but it doesn’t replace screening. If you notice anything unusual, seek medical care early. 🎗️
