Gold is a shiney metal doing nothing, but look at its "growth" recently largely driven by currency debasement.There will come a time when Golds cycle will also top and I will then move to equities.

Just, check the performance of GOLD.
Dont get married to a asset class. My majority stake was in Indian equities, now it's less than 5% since last 2 years.
