If it can form hypotheses, run experiments, learn from the results, and continuously generate knowledge that was unknown to its initial model…
isn’t that getting very close to AGI?
The real test isn’t AI knows our knowledge.
It’s whether AI can discover what it doesn’t know.
What if we trained an AI only on knowledge available up to ~1940, then gave it an RL environment where it could experiment and learn,without telling it what modern concepts are?
Could it independently rediscover things like transistors, laser, modern communication, computing, AI.
@OpenAI We’re moving toward a frontier of cyber capabilities that we may not even fully understand yet.
When the model start challenging the sandbox built to contain it.
The question isn't just how capable the model is.
It’s whether our understanding of its capabilities is keeping up. 💀
The scary part isn't that frontier models are getting better at cyber.
It’s that models are becoming capable enough that the environment in which we train them is itself becoming a security problem.
@OpenAI
The better AI becomes, the more important basic human competence becomes.
The irony? Better AI also reduces the pressure to maintain it.
That creates a dangerous loop: better AI → more reliance → less competence → greater dependence.

WATERMARK STRIPPER HITS 10,000 STARS DAYS AFTER ANTHROPIC SHIPS PROVENANCE
Anthropic detailed how Claude's text watermark works last week.
By this morning a MIT-licensed repo that strips it has 10,000 stars, targeting Claude, SynthID-Text and OpenAI marks, plus C2PA and EXIF in images and PDFs.

This is the main reason I support the NDA government: not because I believe it is perfect, but because I can see the scale, speed and impact of India’s transformation after 2014. @narendramodi@BJP4India@PMOIndia
Humanity spent centuries discovering the laws of nature;
AI may compress that journey into decades and the frightening question is not what we will automate, but how fast we will accelerate discovery itself
