इलाहाबाद हाईकोर्ट ने SC/ST एक्ट के तहत मिलने वाली राशि को लेकर एक चौंकाने वाला आंकड़ा सामने रखा है।

झांसी के एक अधिवक्ता संतोष कुमार धोहरे और उनके परिवार को SC/ST एक्ट के तहत अब तक ₹23,36,250 क�� राहत राशि मिल चुकी है।

इतना ही नहीं, उसी परिवार से जुड़े करीब 10–12 और दावे अभी जिला समिति के पास लंबित बताए जा रहे हैं।

कोर्ट ने साफ कहा है कि केवल केस और दावों की संख्या ज्यादा होने से SC/ST एक्ट के दुरुपयोग की पुष्टि नहीं होती।

लेकिन सवाल यह है कि अगर एक ही परिवार से लगातार इतने दावे सामने आ रहे हैं और लाखों रुपये की सरकारी राहत राशि पहले ही दी जा चुकी है, तो क्या इसकी गहराई से जांच नहीं होनी चाहिए?

कोर्ट ने झांसी के DM और SSP को तीन महीने के भीतर निष्पक्ष जांच करने का आदेश दिया है। साथ ही पूरे उत्तर प्रदेश में बार-बार राहत का दावा करने वाले मामलों की समीक्षा के निर्देश भी दिए गए हैं।

यहां सवाल SC/ST एक्ट की जरूरत पर नहीं है। यह कानून ��ास्तविक पीड़ितों को न्याय और सुरक्षा देने के लिए बेहद जरूरी है।

सवाल सिर्फ इतना है कि क्या इस कानून का कहीं-कहीं दुरुपयोग भी हो रहा है?

अगर कोई व्यक्ति या परिवार बार-बार ऐसे मामलों में सामने आता है और सरकारी राहत प्राप्त करता है, तो उसकी निष्पक्ष जांच होनी ही चाहिए।

क्योंकि अगर कानून का दुरुपयोग होता है तो नुकसान सिर्फ सरकारी खजाने का नहीं होता, बल्कि उन वास्तविक पीड़ितों का भी होता है जि���्हें इस कानून के संरक्षण की सच में जरूरत है।

कोर्ट ने अभी किसी को दोषी नहीं ठहराया है, लेकिन ये आंकड़े कई गंभीर सवाल जरूर खड़े करते हैं।

इस मामले पर आप क्या सोचते हैं,
क्या SC/ST एक्ट के तहत बार-बार राहत का दावा करने वाले मामलों की पूरे देश में सख्ती से समीक्षा होनी चाहिए?
