The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, if you all depend on Allah with due reliance, He would certainly give you provision as He gives it to birds who go forth hungry in the morning and return with full belly at dusk.
[Riyad as-Salihin, 79]
Oh Allah, don't occupy my mind with things that cause me anxiety. Don't let my heart be attached to someone who doesn't value it, and don't deprive me of Your blessings because of my lack of gratitude.
When one door closes, ten others open instead. When you lose something, Allah will give you something better. Rely on Him who never fails to change the night to day. God's compensation is always beautiful. Maybe next year at this same time, you will be sitting next to your wish.
Self-love isn't just about cutting off toxic people. It's also about cutting off the version of you that lets them stay so long. Playing the victim or staying in survival mode might feel safe, but it blinds you to your own behavioral patterns. Stay aware. Learn. Evolve or repeat.
But somewhere between you du'a and your tears, He is arranging something you couldn't have planned for yourself. Hold on a little longer Your Kun is coming.
It's okay to tell Allah exactly how you feel. Prophets themselves poured out their grief to Allah. For example, Ya'qub (AS) said:
"I only complain of my suffering & my grief to Allah." (Qur'an 12:86)
That isn't a lack of faith it is turning to Allah with your pain.
It shows how superficial society can be, where your worth is often measured by your wealth. Let it be the ultimate motivation to keep building in silence.
Be thankful for the people who add to your joy and expect nothing in return. Some relationships heal us from the pain they never gave. Appreciate them. Those who support your progress and cheer for you deserve a special place in your life. Their presence is your blessing.
O Allah, fill my heart with Your remembrance. Protect me from loss, need, distress & despair & inspire me with patience & beautiful reliance upon You.
Tahajjud: Do not cry on your pillow, for that will not change anything. Get up and pray tahajjud, Make dua. Allah knows every single tear you’ve shed. cry to Him for as long as you need, for He is the only one who can turn your tears of sadness into ones of absolute bliss. 🤍
Allah will never make you pray for something that was never meant for you. May be that's why the dua itself is already a sign, because if He placed it in your heart to ask, it means He is already planing to give it to you, just in His perfect time.
Someone doing you unsolicited favors can create pressure to repay disproportionately later. This isn't always malicious, but it's worth noticing when it happens repeatedly and deliberately. Genuine generosity doesn't keep score; manufactured obligation almost always does, eventually.
Pay attention to unguarded moments, how someone reacts to minor inconveniences, mistakes by others, or being mildly disrespected by service workers. Stress and small friction reveal temperament that composure usually hides. A single unguarded moment can tell you more than months of polish.
Always check your own attitude too. It’s not always the world around you, sometimes you are part of the problem. Understand that you also make mistakes and can hurt people. Understand that there are things you need to work on. Apologise, unlearn, and relearn. That’s the mark of a genuinely good person.
The older I get, the more I realize that one of the most attractive traits is genuine enthusiasm. It’s energizing to spend time around people who show real excitement for life. For people, ideas, and tiny moments. It takes courage to care so openly. Enthusiasm is contagious.
People always reveal their true character through patterns and actions. Don't waste energy lamenting the pain they cause, focus instead on how clearly their behavior exposes who they really are. The real mistake isn't their cruelty; it's ignoring the signs and misjudging their character in the first place.
If something feels slightly off but you can't articulate why, don't dismiss it just because you can't prove it. Intuition is often pattern recognition running faster than conscious reasoning. It deserves attention, even if it later turns out to be wrong.
If you don't pray, start praying. If you pray, but you delay your Salah, start praying on time. If you pray on time, but you lack Khushoo and mindfulness, work on that. We must always try to perfect our ibadah. May Allah swt make it easy and guide us All.
