I came from Tezpur. Didn't qualify for a single finals. Will definitely return next year. Winning doesn't always matter, attending Barefoot does.

He's been running this since he was a student in 2012. On his own.
And in this last decade and a bit, the Barefoot Sports Quiz festival has become the pre-eminent sports quiz event around.
Folks fly in from all over, from Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, sometimes even Dubai. A whole lot made it all the way from Tezpur, Assam.
They come because its a little over 2 days of unadulterated hard core sports questions and you cannot find a better mix of QMs and participants.
Aniket ran this when his greatest distraction was getting a call from his thesis adviser, now its likely to be a message from the most powerful sports federation head on the planet, but he still takes care of everything, from the venue to trophies and even finds time to both participate and conduct.
I was fortunate enough to sit with him and Mit on the cricket quiz where we tied for first place before the prelims results pushed us to second. I had the difficult job of lifting my hand for a pounce every time Aniket whispered that he knew the answer(non-quizzers please ignore, this is an arcane ritual which has descended from the Freemasons).
I don't know how you do this every year @aniketmishra299 , but I sure hope you keep doing it.
