Apparently the new Skoda Head is saying that they made a mistake by over engineering their cars for India, thus pricing themselves out. So how they will "under engineer" and ensure they meet the price point.

Which again proves how dumb Skoda and VW are in India.

Sir, the 10 people who still buy Skoda /VW cars in India do it because of this over engineering. That's your USP, your calling card, your trademark.

Now if you Abandon it and go over to the other side and become a Maruti, why would people by a Skoda When they could directly buy Maruti itself?

Now, despite what Joker said, I will give you a free tip.

No matter what you do, what applams you bake, you are never going to convince a Maruti customer to buy a Skoda.

But in going after the Maruti customer, you will lose that rare Skoda / VW customer who still swears by your brand.

Please Take care of your customers first. They are now as rare as the one horned Rhino in Kaziranga and you can't afford to lose them or piss them off.
