The first event for my first book as an author will always be memorable.
Lights. Camera. Conversation.
To my surprise, I agreed to be interviewed in a hall full of people.
As the conversation ended, I was all set to make a quick exit off the stage.
But then, the unexpected happened. People wanted to take pictures. With me. The author.
I thought it’d be a quick few minutes, but no… it went on. And on.
I was touched by the warmth, joy, and love from everyone who came to support me.

I'm not against Indian languages. I'm against this arbitrary move by CBSE.
Mid-session. No textbooks. No trained teachers.
A circular that reversed its own April position in six weeks flat.
Here's everything wrong with CBSE's latest move 👇

Happy birthday, @sudarsansand. Wishing you good health, happiness, and every success. Your art speaks to millions — keep creating, keep inspiring, keep spreading that rare kind of joy and positivity only you can.
Sand. That's all he started with. And look what he made of it. The first recipient of the #OdiaAsmitaAward2026 is someone who never forgot where he came from even as the world took notice. A great choice in the first year of the award instituted by @News18Odia.
Jai Jagannath 🙏
With the blessings of Mahaprabhu Jagannath, I am honoured to receive the #OdiaAsmitaAward2026 from Hon’ble CM of Odisha, Shri Mohan Charan Majhi sir, at the News18 Odia event in Bhubaneswar. Truly grateful for this recognition.
This week, Davos was in the news. All eyes were on Donald Trump and what he might say. Every reporter wanted a piece of him.
One Indian journalist Chandra R Srikanth got President Trump to stop and answer her question.

A friend is struggling with information at the Delhi airport right now. He is due to take the @AirIndiaX flight at 0520 pm. His note below reveals the #utterchaos with #conflictinginfo at every step.
30 years after I signed off as a journalism student from this institute, I walked back to interact with the present batch.
Grateful to @apradhan1968 for giving me this opportunity to reconnect and give back in some small way.
Shri @RajenReflects, Chief Executive Producer Network18 & proud alumnus of @iimcdhenkanal (’94-95), interacted with our #journalism students today. He urged them to build multi-dimensional skills to stay relevant in the fast-changing media world.

Lost your job?
You're not alone.
Rightsizing. Restructuring. Role redundancy. It’s everywhere—from startups to dream companies. Don’t scroll past this like it’s someone else’s problem.

Happy Birthday, @sudarsansand.
In a world that rushes by, your art reminds us to pause. To feel. To reflect. To marvel.
May your hands never tire of creating magic, and your heart never stop inspiring millions—the way you have mesmerized the young and old alike for 30 years.
Thirty years after being a journalism student at the @IIMC_India, the @IIMCAA invited me to return as a judge at the 9th IIMCAA Awards for selecting and later presenting the #JournalistOfTheYear award to the remarkable Sarvapriya Sangwan.
Congratulations to all winners and a big shoutout to the organisers for doing this every year.
I’d have laughed if you’d told me three years ago that I’d post weekly reflections for 150 weeks straight, publish my first book, and host a roomful of people eager to hear me speak. Loudly.
Yet, here I am.
To my surprise, for my book launch that was timed while many were holidaying or had predetermined plans, people showed up. They filled the room with warmth, encouragement, and curiosity. We talked about life, lessons, and stories, and for the first time, I felt okay sharing my journey in person.

It's a new year, and understandably, you want to start on the right foot, make the moves that matter and, most importantly, stay happy.
In my book, I have listed a few ways to get there. But don't take my word for it. You should hear it from an accomplished author, an established professional, and a familiar face on your TV screen for three decades.
May the new year strike all the right notes for you. Happy 2025
Thank you, @sardesairajdeep, for the shout-out. It means much to me.

I am grateful to Sanjay Suri for his kind shout-out about my book.
Sanjay is an accomplished journalist and author with a stellar career spanning decades. His book, Brideless in Wembley, is a remarkable collection of Indian stories from Britain, reflecting his profound understanding of people and cultures.
Currently serving as Political Editor for Europe at the Network18 Group, Sanjay has been reporting on international affairs from London for nearly 20 years.
To receive such encouraging words from someone of his stature is humbling, and it inspires me to keep sharing stories that resonate.
If you haven’t yet picked up a copy of my book, I would love for you to read it. If you find it valuable or enjoyable, please share it with others who might also benefit from or appreciate it. Every reader and every word of encouragement fuels this journey of storytelling and connection.
Thank you again, Sanjay, for your support and generosity. It means much to me.
