The 1978 Ranga-Billa case involved the brutal kidnapping and murder of teenage siblings Geeta and Sanjay Chopra in Delhi by career criminals Kuljeet Singh (Ranga) and Jasbir Singh (Billa).

The horrific crime shocked the nation, leading to a massive manhunt and the swift conviction of both killers, who were ultimately hanged in 1982.

The investigation was led by Inspector VP Gupta of the Delhi Police, with SI Ram Chander serving on the team. A bystander, who had tried to save the children, and later helped the police identify the killers by providing their descriptions was Babulal. The journalist who covered the case was Prabha Dutt.

Amazon Prime's series Raakh, which is based on this incident, replaces Inspector VP Gupta with SI Jayprakash Jatav, explicitly portrayed as a Dalit officer navigating institutional bias. Furthermore, SI Ram Chander is replaced by SI Javed Murtaza, Babulal by Saleem, and Prabha Dutt by Nisar, while a lazy hawaldar character named Mishra has been added to the narrative.

This isn't creative liberty. Creative liberty is meant to enhance a story, not distort historical facts to fit a specific ideological agenda. Another stark reminder of how easily history can be rewritten in plain sight under the convenient guise of creative freedom.

Very happy to report the presence of natural gas in Sri Vijayapuram-3 an exploratory well drilled by Oil India Ltd. 15 km off the east coast of the Andaman Islands at a water depth of 355 meters.
Initial production testing of the well at the depth of 1900 plus meters in the Eocene formation has established the presence of natural gas through continuous flaring.
Oil India is carrying out gas sampling to assess the composition & calorific value of gas and to carry out isotope studies to understand the genesis of the gas.
Under the Samudra Manthan Mission (National Deep Water Exploration Mission) announced by Hon’ble PM @narendramodi Ji on Independence Day 2025, large number of deepwater & Ultra deepwater exploration wells are planned in our offshore basins to fully exploit our hydrocarbon reserves.
Presence of hydrocarbon is now reported in 2(Two) wells out of 3 (Three) exploratory wells drilled by OIL in current exploratory campaign off Andaman Basin.
This presence of natural gas will help us in taking forward our exploration ambitions in coordination with global deepwater exploration experts like @petrobras, @TotalEnergies, @bp_india, @Shell, @exxonmobil and will be a significant milestone in our journey through Amrit Kaal!

मैं संसदीय शिक्षा समिति का हिस्सा हूँ और पिछले कई दिनों से देख रही हूँ कि समिति के अध्यक्ष होने के बावजूद दिग्विजय सिंह जी NEET और CBSE के मुद्दे पर जमकर राजनीति कर रहे हैं।

शिक्षा समिति पिछले कई दिनों से सकारात्मक रूप से NEET और CBSE के मुद्दे पर काम करने की कोशिश कर रही है। केंद्र सरकार छात्रों के हित में हर संभव प्रयास कर रही है। पेपर लीक के मुद्दे को गंभीरता से लेते हुए सरकार ने तत्काल CBI को जांच सौंपी और सभी आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार किया गया! उन्हें सख्त से सख्त सज़ा दिलाने की प्रक्रिया चल रही है। संसद में आज तक का सबसे कड़ा एंटी-पेपर लीक कानून भी पारित कराया गया है। सिस्टम में कोई कमी न रहे, इसलिए एयर फोर्स तक को ज़िम्मेदारी दी गई है। केंद्र सरकार की नीयत पूरी तरह साफ है। पेपर लीक के प्रति सरकार की नीति ‘ZERO TOLERANCE’ की है।

लेकिन बहुत दुख की बात है कि समिति के अध्यक्ष और वरिष्ठ नेता दिग्विजय सिंह जी तथा कांग्रेस पार्टी इस मुद्दे पर केवल राजनीति करना चाहते हैं। उनका उद्देश्य शिक्षा व्यवस्था को मजबूत करना नहीं, बल्कि छात्रों और अभिभावकों के मन में डर और भ्रम पैदा करना है।

कांग्रेस के समय कितने पेपर लीक हुए ये बात दिग्विजय सिंह जी अच्छे से जानते है! इस संवेदनशील मुद्दे पर भाजपा के किसी भी सदस्य ने राजनीति या Whataboutery नहीं की है। संसद के कानून का पालन करते हुए समिति के अन्य किसी भी सांसद सदस्य ने भी मीडिया में जाकर इस विषय पर कुछ नहीं बोला है।

पर दिग्विजय सिंह जी एक ओर तो हम सब के सामने प्रधानमंत्री मोदी जी की प्रशंसा करते हैं और कहते हैं कि उन्हें मोदी जी पर पूरा विश्वास है, और दूसरी ओर
वो ही समिति के नियमों और परंपराओं की अनदेखी करते हुए लगातार मीडिया में बयानबाज़ी और राजनीतिक स्टंट कर रहे हैं!

इतने वरिष्ठ नेता होने के नाते दिग्विजय सिंह जी को अपने लीडर को खुश करने के लिए यह दोहरापन नहीं दिखाना चाहिए। अपनी राजनीति के लिए बच्चों के भविष्य से नहीं खेलना चाहिए।

माननीय प्रधानमंत्री @narendramodi जी छात्रों के हित में मजबूती से खड़े हैं। कांग्रेस को देश के सामने स्पष्ट करना चाहिए कि वह छात्रों के साथ है या केवल राजनीति करना चाहती है।

जुलाई 2024 : दिल्ली के कोचिंग सेंटरों में पानी भरने से 3 छात्रों की मौत हुई।

3 जून 2026 : रेस्टोरेंट में आग लगने से 21 लोगों की मौत हुई।

दोनों घटनाओं में एक बात कॉमन है। वह है बेसमेंट। यहां एंट्री/एग्जिट का सिर्फ एक रास्ता होता है। अगर उसी गेट पर इमरजेंसी आ गए तो निकलना और बचना दोनों मुश्किल है। कम से कम बिल्डिंग के ऊपर आग लगने से लोग कूदकर बच तो जाते हैं, यहाँ ऐसा मौका नहीं मिलता।

Here are a few more examples:

- Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann isn't even a graduate.
- Manish Sisodia has no college degree.
- 29 AAP MLAs/former MLAs never went to college, and 9 couldn't even pass school.

PM Modi has a degree and is serving the country with honesty. But then again, he doesn't need validation from a fraud like you.
