This afternoon, Col. @edthnaka held a fruitful engagement with investors from MOHAN MUTHA INFRASTRUCTURES led by Mr. Rajesh Chaplot and Mr. Praful Mutha at SHIPU offices.

The investors shared their proposal for the construction of a multi-million-dollar port spanning 55,498sqm on the shores of Lake Victoria, alongside investments in shipping and logistics, road construction, and water solutions.

The Port City Development project aims to strengthen cross-border transportation to boost exports.
It will also reduce the number of heavy trucks on the roads, and ease traffic congestion by enhancing water transport and logistics efficiency.

They are seeking an opportunity to partner with the @GovUganda on this transformative project, which is expected to boost trade, improve infrastructure, and support regional economic growth.

Present was Hon. @KankundaAmos1 - MP Rwampara County, Mr. Apollo Kashanku and Mr. Edmand Kalende from @MoWT_Uganda.
