The accused Asif, not only forcibly converted her religion but also compelled her to consume beef and wear a burqa.

The Hindu woman became acquainted with Asif 8 yrs back. They were in a romantic relationship.
Asif promised to marry her and began sexually exploiting her.

On September 6, 2023, Asif took her to his home and raped her. When the woman resisted, the accused allegedly attacked and injured her with a knife.
Subsequently, the accused took her to Ludhiana. When she became pregnant there, Asif abandoned her and returned alone.

According to the woman, when she somehow managed to return to Asif's house, the main accused—Asif—along with his father Jalaluddin and brother Arif, forcibly administered medication to her, resulting in a miscarriage.

The victim further alleged that after the miscarriage, she was taken to a madrasa where she was forcibly converted. She was compelled to eat beef and wear a burqa. When she resisted these actions, she was subjected to caste-based slurs and driven out of home on October 30, 2025.

Based on the complaint, a case of rape under the pretext of marriage has been registered against the prime accused, Asif. Meanwhile, a case of attempted rape has been registered against his father, Jalaluddin, and his brother, Arif.
