My previous post was about an all-time favourite dance track.

And this one, Musafir Hoon Yaaron, is my all-time favourite song. Period.

I’ve attached a post I made in ‘21, which explains why it’s echoed in my head for decades.

Srinivas’ mesmerising rendition tells us that music itself is a ‘musafir’ with no fixed home or address. It’s a powerful binding force for this huge and diverse country.

Needless to say, one other reason the song has continued to resonate with me: it’s a fitting anthem for our company, whose very purpose is to promote mobility!

A mother monkey walked straight up to strangers and basically begged them to help her baby.
No aggression. No panic display for the camera. Just pure, desperate maternal instinct. She knew her baby was in trouble and she chose to trust humans she had never met.
That moment hits different when you’ve watched enough wildlife videos. Most animals in crisis either freeze, fight, or flee. This one calculated the risk, approached the only beings who could help, and handed her child over.
There’s a quiet lesson in that. Motherhood — human or animal — doesn’t always look like strength. Sometimes it looks like humility. Sometimes the bravest thing a mother can do is admit she can’t fix it alone and ask for help.
The strangers didn’t film first and help second. They just helped. And the mother stayed close the whole time, watching, waiting, trusting.
In a world that often feels loud and cynical, these little moments still exist. A wild mother. A group of strangers. One fragile baby. And the simple decision to care.
That kind of quiet courage is worth noticing.
