I’m 76. I’ve never hated a Canadian politician as much as I hate Poilievre. I started hating him the instant he came on the political season 22+ years ago. His smug persona irritated me. I was right then, and I’m right now. He’s unfit for office. Any office. Anywhere.
Pierre Poilievre calls the elected leader of the United States “President Trump.”
He calls the elected leader of Canada “Mark Carney.”
Apparently he has more respect for American institutions than Canadian ones. 🤷♂️
@PierrePoilievre

NEW: Crumbl just launched a drink containing a staggering 186 grams of sugar — nearly half a pound of sugar in a single serving. That’s about the same as drinking 5 cans of Coke or eating roughly 19 Krispy Kreme donuts.
This woman is 25 years old
She has been driving her car for weeks, sweating and miserable because the air conditioning isn’t working
Finally she takes it to the dealership. They ask her if she’s hit the “AC Button”
She hasn’t, that was the problem
These people vote…
There is a real argument and need for some form of cognitive competency test for voting
Voter ignorance is widespread
Decades of research from political scientists like Bryan Caplan, Jason Brennan, and more have shown that the average voter has very low political knowledge. Many cannot name basic facts about government, economics or candidates
IQ and cognitive ability correlate with better outcomes
Higher IQ predicts better information processing, lower susceptibility to certain biases, and higher voter turnout. Studies show smarter people are more likely to vote and have more stable, informed opinions on average
Democracy as a high-stakes decision, allowing uninformed people to vote is likely devastating to our society
Alberta got lucky when it found oil. It did not take any talent. Alberta ever since has used oil to manipulate and try to strong arm Canada.
The victim mentality since the 1970's and the whining and complaining is the culture for a lot of Albertans.
The reason most Canadians don't seem to care about the economy is because just over 25% of employed work for the government and the 55+ age group which are the only demographics to have gained employment rates have also the highest percentile of defined benefits pension plan.
So we have a socioeconomic situation where over half don't have any financial interest in increasing productivity or care for the well being of the private sector but tell future generations to just lift their elbows a little higher as they vote to replace them with foreigners.
MONEY FOR NOTHING
The Carney Govt BACKDATED the "spaceport" Lease with Martime Launch Services by ONE YEAR.
They handed LIBERAL INSIDERS $20 MILLION tax dollars for NOTHING.
No work.
No value.
No explanation.
This is ONE BIG SCAM & taxpayers are footing the bill.
My friends,
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
Do me a huge favour.
Please check in with your Liberal boomer friends and family.
I can’t imagine how horrific it is, for them,
to hear Carney say that Canada can “make America Great Again”.
😭
CBC is trying to convince Canadians that this is just a technical recession & it’s already over
Canada is seeing MASSIVE oil and gas revenues thanks to higher energy prices
I was told oil was FINISHED and Canada is going 100% electric
