It was great to see the progress of INNOVERSE and the Museum of Innovation, Startup & Technology (MIST). These are two transformative, government-backed deep-tech and cultural initiatives being developed in Bengaluru. Conceived as complementary institutions, both projects are being delivered through a pioneering Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model between the Department of Electronics, Information Technology and Biotechnology and UnboxingBLR.

The Museum of Innovation, Startup & Technology (MIST) will be India’s first museum dedicated exclusively to documenting the nation’s remarkable journey in innovation, technology and entrepreneurship. Rooted in India’s present and inspired by its future, MIST will showcase the ideas, institutions and innovators that have transformed the country’s technological landscape while inspiring curiosity, creativity and conversation across generations.

The museum is being developed by the Karnataka Technology Innovation Museum Foundation (KTIMF) and will be located within the historic NGEF Campus at Baiyappanahalli, occupying one of the original switchgear factory sheds nestled within a 105-acre campus that includes 65 acres of urban forest. Through the adaptive reuse of this industrial heritage structure, the existing 10,061 sq. m. footprint will be expanded to nearly 24,000 sq. m. by adding new floors and double-height volumes. Approximately 12,325 sq. m. will be dedicated to immersive museum galleries and public experiences, creating a landmark institution that celebrates India’s innovation journey while preserving an important chapter of Karnataka’s industrial heritage.

ಬೇರೆಲ್ಲ ವಲಯದ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯು ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಪಡುವಂತಿದ್ದರೆ, ವಾಹನ ದಟ್ಟಣೆಯ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ಆತಂಕಪಡುವಂತಹದ್ದು.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದಾದ ಸುಧಾರಣೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಹಿರಿಯ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯ ಮೂಲಭೂತ ಕಾರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸುವುದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾಲಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಸುಧಾರಣಾ ಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಉನ್ನತಿಕರಣವೂ ಅತ್ಯಗತ್ಯ.

- ದೇಶದ ಇತರ ನಗರಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯ ಮಾದರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಮಾಡುವುದರೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಇತರ ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯ ಮಾದರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಹ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ನಡೆಸಿ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಕುರಿತು ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಂತನೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು.

- "ಅರ್ಬನ್ ಮೊಬಿಲಿಟಿ ಮಿಷನ್" ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನದ ಕುರಿತು ಕ್ರಮ ವಹಿಸಬೇಕು, ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗೆ ಪರಿಹಾರ ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.

- ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆ ನಡೆಯುವ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಸೃಜನೆಯಾಗುವ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಹನ ದಟ್ಟಣೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿರುತ್ತದೆ, ಈ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳ ಸಂಚಾರ ಸುಧಾರಣೆಗೆ ಕ್ರಮ ವಹಿಸಬೇಕು.

- ಸುಗಮ ಸಂಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ರಸ್ತೆ ಮದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿನ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಕಂಬಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಇನ್ನಿತರ ಅಡಚಣೆಗಳ ನಿವಾರಣೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಇಲಾಖೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಮನ್ವಯತೆ ಸಾಧಿಸಬೇಕು.

- ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಇಲಾಖೆ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಇಲಾಖೆ, ಅರಣ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯ ಸುಧಾರಣೆಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ಯಾವುದೇ ಇಲಾಖೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಮನ್ವಯತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಕಾರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
ಈ ಮೇಲಿನ ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿ, ಮುಂದಿನ ಕ್ರಮಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

Recently visited Target's Global Capability Centre in Bengaluru today with Hon'ble @CMofKarnataka and senior officers from the Government of Karnataka.

It was great interacting with the leadership team and learning how Bengaluru has become Target's largest GCC globally, playing a central role in the company's engineering, data science, product development and business operations.

Today several key global functions for the company are led from Bengaluru, including the Store Design team responsible for designing over 2,000 Target stores across the United States, as well as the company's Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) capabilities.

Target's journey reflects how Karnataka's GCC ecosystem has evolved beyond support functions to become a global hub for product development, innovation and enterprise leadership. Our Government remains committed to strengthening the policy and talent ecosystem that keeps Karnataka at the forefront of the global GCC landscape.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆಯು ನ್ಯಾಯದಾನದಲ್ಲಿ, ಕಾನೂನು ಸುವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಕಾಪಾಡುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೇ ಉತ್ತಮ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಿದೆ, ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಜಸ್ಟಿಸ್ ರಿಪೋರ್ಟ್ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಷಮತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 2025ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲೇ ನಂ1 ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿದೆ.

ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಷಮತೆಯ ವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ, ಕಾನೂನು ಸುವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಬಲವರ್ಧನೆ ಕ್ರಮ ವಹಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಈಗಾಗಲೇ 3395 ಸಿವಿಲ್ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಕಾನ್ಸ್ ಟೇಬಲ್ ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳ ಭರ್ತಿಗೆ ಕ್ರಮ ವಹಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಹಾಗೂ ಇಂದು ಲೋಕಾರ್ಪಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾದ ಹೊಸ ವಾಹನಗಳು ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಷಮತೆಯ ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸುತ್ತವೆ ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
