On the morning of July 29, 2025,
immediately after the ceasefire took effect, the Thai armed forces illegally arrested Cambodian military personnel. As of August 22, 2025, they have been detained unlawfully for 24days.

In pictures: The Ministry of National Defence guided the Interim Observer Team (IOT) on an inspection tour of the Prah Vihear Temple and surrounding areas today, August 20.

As many as 12 families, consisting of 49 people including elders and people with disabilities, have been forced out of their homes by the Thai military forces as their homes are next to the barbed wires and tires barricade that Thai soldiers set up in Banteay Meanchey Province.

The civilians, who are residents of Prey Chan and Choukchey villages in O’Beichoan Commune, O’Chrov District, have not been allowed to enter their homes since Aug. 12. The Thai armed forces have destroyed the Cambodians’ home fences and two Cambodian military posts.
