William

Resident of North Raleigh interested in open discussion about our city and issues that affect the community. Opinions expressed are my own.

[William @RaleighResident]

@emoryball Maybe more recreational in nature. Can't overcome flooding since drainage would be to the flooding river. @greenwayraleigh

[William @RaleighResident]

@emoryball Greenways are built along city owned easements by rivers (best available space). It's also the flood plain. @greenwayraleigh

[William @RaleighResident]

@ProtectFalls What can council do at this point in the development process? @DickieThompsonA @dcox4council @JBordenRPR @janeathalea

[William @RaleighResident]

@janeathalea Friend just forwarded me press release. DEQ secretary is discontinuing SolarBee Project.

[William @RaleighResident]

@dcox4council Thanks for the information and response David. Very helpful. I appreciate it!

This is the scene at the shops near Johnnie Mercer's Pier on Wrightsville Beach. #wral

[William @RaleighResident]

@dcox4council Is this about modifying the buffer/transition & height requirements? Or is it about eliminating this project all together?

[William @RaleighResident]

@dcox4council It would seem pushing workforce housing further out away from the jobs would be counter productive.

[William @RaleighResident]

@dcox4council David, honest question here. So where exactly should this workforce housing go? I mean is there properly zoned spot already?

[William @RaleighResident]

@AshleyHSBO Thanks for the explanation. Appreciate it.

[William @RaleighResident]

@AshleyHSBO I understood your point just fine, but don't know what word you would have preferred them use in the context of this issue.

[William @RaleighResident]

@AshleyHSBO Actually trucks were previously prohibited from doing biz on any public streets unless it was part of an event or rodeo.

[William @RaleighResident]

@rodwilliams8 Might be Rod. Bob Denver died over 10 years ago. Check the date on the article.

They finally found a tenant for old Wakefield Kroger space & it's not a grocery store. https://t.co/znpJZog25T @georgefarthing @dcox4council

[William @RaleighResident]

@dcox4council @georgefarthing Interesting read about developers approach for proposed Publix in North Durham. https://t.co/3zzOSlVMIZ

[William @RaleighResident]

@georgefarthing Here's an interesting picture of the three.

[William @RaleighResident]

@AndySpecht N. Raleigh in full blown freak out meltdown over Dunn Road remapping approval today.

[William @RaleighResident]

@georgefarthing @dcox4council Saw surveyors again today along Whittington & Dunn. Looks like new site plan for property coming.

[William @RaleighResident]

@Neil_Gottlieb @mvalimont3 Comes off a bit unseemly calling decision "silly" and mentioning people signed waivers.

[William @RaleighResident]

@Neil_Gottlieb @mvalimont3 Well a runner died today at the race. Think about that as you complain about your "bad" race experience.
