@itskyleconner I felt a lot better about EREVS a decade ago when GM could have continued and built on the Volt drivetrain and other players used their combustion know how. It’s late in the transition for these. Infrastructure is better, batteries are better and cheaper.

@JWMediaDC The game only works because FOX bundles their broadcast channel. If they didn't use their broadcast licenses anti-competitively to overcharge consumers, few in NJ/NY would pay for BTN. Even fewer would change their willingness to pay based on Rutgers being in or out.

@BullsNationCFB @ComeToUSF AAC has 8 football programs you could argue match up to PAC-12. But then there are 6 other schools. You gotta count those. Pac-12 is a better conference no doubt. USF in Big East and PAC-12 football only, miles ahead of USF in AAC.

@WCCSG_ New Mexico is top in Directors Cup through Winter 2026-51st top non-P4, non-Ivy. In 2025 they were 49th and also top non-P4, non-Ivy. They are also ahead of many P4 schools both years. Really impressive.

@wilnerhotline Big 12 rule for athletes competing who are known to have in the past bet on their own teams. Any games played including these athletes do not count in conference standings and therefore could disqualify a team from the conf. championship. No TV revenue lost, other teams not hurt.

@wilnerhotline You casually mention relegation. Real relegation would make a super league work. Do you mean that there will be some teams that can be relegated and some that can not? I don't ever see Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame or others agreeing to a system where they could be relegated.

A bit glass half empty there, Jon. Big 12 will about double the distribution to the 4 former half share members making them much better able to compete and represent the Big 12. At the same time (by your math) they are increasing full share distributions slightly. That would be a big accomplishment.
