@sap1ens Using Kafka Streams on Iceberg would not make any sense. I don't see Iceberg as the new de-facto "multi-modal" access engine to Kafka anyway, but time will tell. IMHO putting data to rest directly is not the way. I prefer Streaming Databases (and I know I am yet quite alone).

@Hixon101 @hkdulay @martinkl Well, the ideas behind ksqlDB were groundbreaking, but the implementation was not so perfect. Materialize and RisingWave have actually implemented what ksqlDB could have. That's, in a nutshell, what the book is about and more.

@simas_ch US Store? I'd recommend "Drinks of the World" for example at Zürich HB or Luzern Bahnhof. You can get all kinds of Dr. Pepper there plus loads more :)

I cannot stop until I have beaten all players in Final Match Tennis/Level 5 with Boris. This time around - Ivan Lendl, probably the hardest opponent in this game... I don't know how I did this actually. This game is just *the* best tennis sim ever. Have a look if you haven't yet.

Oh, and if the computer opponents become to weak for you, to get into level 5 - hold select + X, then push left four times and right ten times ;-) Then you will have a really hard time... but a really fun time as well if you master it.

@MrLarrieu @TheDanicaFine Yeah but at Netflix, Kafka is of course not used for video streaming - I don't think you should state that. It's used for all kinds of meta data, but for the video streaming proper, they use their own technology. It might be possible, but not really.
