[Underrated skill]
After passing the boards, I decided to go into the academe and become a professor (for undergrad and medschool) before going into residency, and I think one skill that is underrated as doctors (that we have to STRIVE to develop) is the skill of TEACHING (1/4)
3. Help clerks, interns and junior doctors improve, not only as students of medicine but as doctors as well
4. Make it easier to integrate different interdisciplinary concepts which can help us improve our clinical calls and judgement (3/4)
Focus on the short term goals and mini victories. They all add up to a much bigger victory when everything is said and done ☺️

PGI-ship. May 2022. Had an elderly stroke px admitted on a Monday morning and was for q2 BP monits. Saw her around ~8x during my shift. I met her daughter and listened to her stories of her kids in the states, how much she missed them and how she wanted to see them again. (1/9)
