They were defeated by the Israelites in battle in the end, and they eventually became Israelites, as well. Since they were conquered and then eventually became Israelites, it wasn't obviously a voluntary switch.

It is doubtful that the Canaanites simply all voluntarily became Israelites. At some point, you had essentially a complete replacement of Canaanites with Israelites. Obviously, Canaanites joined.

There were no Jews technically when Israelites fought Canaanites. They became Jews afterwards. It is assumed by historians, the Israelite Canaanite speakers absorbed the weaker Canaanites.

They were victorious over other Canaanite speakers and did assimilate the Canaanites who were weaker than them. One would assume they didn't volunteer. Also, John Hyrcanus was documented as having converted people.

@NileGardiner @ZohranKMamdani I believe he has at least 55% support in New York. So, so far, his constituents seem to approve, which is what counts and some people he endorsed in New York won. While he's relatively new. I don't see what makes him the worst mayor in history over there.

@RosBanks6 @NileGardiner @ZohranKMamdani Muslims are only 4% of the voting population, I believe. He won heavily among Hispanics, Asians, black folks, and women, and he received a decent amount of support among Jews - 33%. He won by 50.78%. His current support is at 55%, so there's been an increase in support.

Also, David was a kind of warlord in his own right. The ancient Jews and Israelites were a warrior people if you read the TORAH.

Yes, Islam borrowed from Christianity as did Christianity from Judaism. Anyway, trying to connect all people born Muslim with 9/11 is prejudice and not in line with the Christian message.

That means the majority of the voters for both weren't born in New York, so it applies to both candidates. Also, many voters have lived there for 10+ years.

@CatShoshanna You are trying to promote us to have more hatred of Muslims in West Asia to benefit Israel, but most Americans oppose what Israel is doing. Also, Israel destroyed up to 90% of homes in Gaza, killed Muslims and Christians in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon.

The father didn't care. His middle name is Kwame, an African nationalist name. Kwame was a Pan-African socialist. So, NOPE.

@HenrysDeals @MccoolTex @realMaalouf Are you aware that the US bombing campaign of Cambodia led to the deaths of 160,000 or so civilians there? Are you aware that before 9/11, 10s of thousands of civilians were killed in West Asia due to our and Israel's foreign policy and some of the victims were Christians FYI.
