@haikucreep If they're patient Facebook groups often have free or very cheap furniture come up!

@untiloasis I passed through there in 2014 and everyone I talked to was nice and also their bus lines are simple & easy to navigate (but they're a small city so I guess it's pretty hard to fuck up idk)

[ralp @Ralph_1312]

@MalikIsrailov @CSPerfectShot As far as size and visibility goes- the farther distance will dim the image, but when there's no secondary lighting it's still going to show up pretty far away, especially on a phone camera.

[ralp @Ralph_1312]

@MalikIsrailov @CSPerfectShot Plenty of people opt for projectors rather than TVs. I haven't played around with them much but I'd be willing to bet that plenty of consumer grade projectors could do this pretty easy

[ralp @Ralph_1312]

@spaceheaton :( no

@the_aiju I've found that what works best for me as someone with a more 'junior' level of skill is to say that there are languages that I'm 'familiar' with (ones that I've worked with before) and then ones that I'm 'comfortable' with (ones that I use regularly).

[ralp @Ralph_1312]

@haikucreep hmmmmmm hmm hmmmm hmmmmmmm
it could be any number of things really - is it that you got higher returns in previous years? if so maybe you were overpaying thought the year at your old job and then it was returned to u during tax season

[ralp @Ralph_1312]

@haikucreep when you enter a new bracket you're only taxed at that rate for income you made after entering the bracket!

[ralp @Ralph_1312]

@haikucreep but bubbie that's not how tax brackets work !!

[ralp @Ralph_1312]

@rachelwinslow76 @spacecitymarc @lindaholmes You're right but I wish you were wrong (╯︵╰,)

[ralp @Ralph_1312]

@Paxkimi nice !

[ralp @Ralph_1312]

@spacecitymarc @lindaholmes I'm not trying to undermine your point here- just pointing out that things might not be as bad as they seem! Videos made with software like this (deepfake included) that are made with ill intent will hopefully be scoped out!

[ralp @Ralph_1312]

@spacecitymarc @lindaholmes I agree that this kind of technology can seem to have scary repercussions, but if it helps at all- tech like this is detectable by software. I understand that the average person can't distinguish these things with their eyes but it's still possible to detect!

[ralp @Ralph_1312]

youtube has capped video speed at 2x for too long. I'm ready for 3x now. maybe 4x

[ralp @Ralph_1312]

@2DaKnife I tried the DJ hero scratch pad exactly one time and decided that I'm really happy for the people who enjoy it but that I could never be one of those people lol

[ralp @Ralph_1312]

Video games are often built around available control schemes. Can you imagine if 1st party controllers had built in sliders? Macro buttons? Switches? That would be silly, but it wouldn't be silly to see these things on an arcade cabinet. We could see a new golden age of arcades.
