Illegally dumping 1 bag = 😑
Illegally dumping 7 bags = 🤢
This driver in Hunts Point #Bronx had the AUDACITY to dump 7 bags! All caught on a camera funded by @CMSalamancaJr.
We were sick of it! We impounded the vehicle & issued a $4k summons.
Don’t Dump on Our City 💥💥💥
We can’t do this work alone. Shout out to our local precincts and community boards for all their support and partnership. Community! @NYCSchools @DK_BlackburnNYC @DOEChancellor@D8Connect
Time and time again when our islands are hurting, The Bronx steps up!
So proud of everyone who came out to donate, lend a hand or show support. Thank you to @revrubendiaz, The New York Hispanic Clergy Org., @NYPD41Pct, @2_bronx & all those who helped make today possible!
Majority Leader @SenSchumer and I are seeking $380 million to green the Hunts Point Produce Market, which accounts for 25% of NYC’s produce and distributes food from 49 states.

fewer greenhouse gas emissions
less air pollution
lower asthma rates

Once the site of the painful Spofford Juvenile Detention Center will now be home to La Peninsula, a beacon for hope & promise in the form of 740-units of 100% affordable housing, an early childhood education center, a healthcare clinic and light manufacturing jobs.
Everyday our officers show up ready to protect our communities. When we run away, they’re running in. I was proud to join @NYPDPBBronx and @41_Comm_Council to express our complete gratitude to the members of the @NYPD41Pct at todays fellowship breakfast.

Today the community showed up! We showed up to demand justice for Kyhara Tay. We showed up to grieve with the Tay Family, and we showed up to offer one another strength during this crisis.
Together we’re hurting, but together we will rise. #JusticeForKyharaTay
