Could you please add USA consulate under essential services and provide assurance to the consulate staff.Thousands of IT engineers stuck leaving behind thier families in the USA since consulate is closed with lockdown since last 1 month.Any help would be appreciated.

@ckuck @TravelGov Valid question.Consulates should be opened under mandatory services.Also rejecting visas or 221g due to temporary travel ban is not logical.

@RebeccaBeitsch Please allow work visa holders stuck in India leaving behind the jobs, families and properties in ths USA.We make sure to get tested, vaccinated, be in quarantine and travel under safe conditions.Also rejecting visas or 221g because of temporary travel ban is not logical.

Are there any efforts to clear visas/221g pending due to covid-19 situation at Hyderabad?.Lots of people stuck in India leaving their families/properties in the USA.
