Inspiring discussion at #COP28's @UNCDF Pavilion! @CAREBdesh's Mrityunjoy Das-Humanitarian &Climate Action Director &fellow climate activists talked on 'Locally Led Adaptation in Bangladesh: Expectation& Reality.' Such discussions build on CARE's commitment towards #ClimateAction
Thrilled to share that our dedicated colleagues at CARE across the world are at the #COP28 right now, to make a positive impact on global discussions & #ClimateActions for a greener, brighter tomorrow. Together, we're committed to fostering change & building a resilient future!
As the #Rohingya crisis completes six-years, it is a poignant reminder that the plight of the refugees largely remains unchanged. The world has done a lot to support them and make their lives a little better, but we have not been able to give them their future. With resources fast dwindling and crises in other parts of the globe getting attention, the Rohingya needs are silently being relegated to the background. The world needs to continue to stand in solidarity with them. @CAREBdesh organized a panel discussion on the Rohingya Crisis future followed by a Humanitarian Fair attended by the Additional Refugee Relief and Repatriation Commissioner, representatives from #FCDO, #WFP, #UNHCR & the #ISCG to deliberate on the issues faced by the refugees today and what the future holds for them.
On this World Humanitarian Day, CARE celebrates humanitarians around the world and recognizes the immense challenges they face, including a growing funding gap, safety risks, and the politicization of aid. #WHD#NoMatterWhat@Deepmala_Mahla
If you ever want to have more, you have to become more - steadfastly keeping an eye on your goal, doing the right things, believing you can do it and at the end a genuine gratitude for all that you could do. Success is not something to be pursued.
