அரசியல் சட்டப்படி, ஆண்டின் தொடக்கத்தில் அரசின் உரையை மாநில ஆளுநர் வாசிப்பது சட்டமன்ற ஜனநாயகத்தின் மரபு! அதை மீறுவதையே தனது வழக்கமாக வைத்துள்ளார் @rajbhavan_TN. கடந்த ஆண்டுகளில் இருந்ததை வெட்டியும், இல்லாததை ஒட்டியும் வாசித்த ஆளுநர் இம்முறை வாசிக்காமலேயே போயிருப்பது சிறுபிள்ளைத்தனமானது.

தமிழ்நாட்டு மக்களையும், அவர்களால் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட அரசையும், நூற்றாண்டு கண்ட தமிழ்நாடு சட்டப்பேரவையையும் தொடர்ந்து அவமதிக்கும் ஆளுநரின் செயல் அவர் வகிக்கும் பதவிக்கு அழகல்ல.
