PLEASE SHAREGot scammed by #rapido driver. When I paid for the ride, his bank servers were busy and the transaction went into "processing" and he demanded that I retry the payment again the next morning.

This experience got me thinking that If a literate person like me had got scammed this way, I wonder how many such crimes were left undealt by other people that are not so literate. #upi #ScamAlert

@rapidobikeapp @anandmahindra @Uber This time the transaction was successful. He gave me his phone number and we talked over whatsapp. And today the pending transaction was processed. And he got paid twice now. When I tried to contact him over whatsapp he blocked me.

@rapidobikeapp @anandmahindra @Uber I tried with multiple phone numbers and he's not responding. I contacted #gpay and they said they couldn't reverse the transaction. I raised the issue with rapido and also filed an issue for reversal of this transaction on #npci .
