One of the most overlooked forms of wealth is having complete ownership of your time.
Waking up and knowing nothing about your day will be decided by someone else is priceless.
Advice is Information
Advise is Inform.
That is: if “information” fit in, you use Advice
Example: The advice you gave me was helpful. Because you can also say, “The information you gave me was helpful”.
If “inform” fit in, you use Advise
Example: I will advise him not to do it.
It’s advise because you can also say “I will inform him not to do it.
Again, anywhere the word “information” fits you use Advice, anywhere the word “inform” fits you use Advise.
Information is always information, it is a noun and doesn’t change with tense
So Advice is always Advice
But inform is a verb, so Advise act accordingly.
Present tense - Advise
Past tense- Advised
Future tense- Advising
Gerund (acting as a noun) - Advising.
We can have;
Yesterday, the Governor advised the indigene to take the advice of the CP seriously.
Cos it could be; Yesterday, the Governor informed the indigene to take the information of the CP seriously.
🙏 Gracias.☺️
