People’s Verdict for Change and Development

The results of the elections across four states and one Union Territory clearly reflect the people’s preference for development and decisive change in governance. While Assam and Puducherry have reaffirmed support for development-oriented leadership, the people of West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala have expressed a clear desire for political change.

Under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Sri @narendramodi Ji, with the strategic direction of @BJP4India President Sri @NitinNabin, and the political acumen of Union Home Minister Sri @AmitShah, the Bharatiya Janata Party has achieved a historic victory in West Bengal.

I extend heartfelt congratulations to the @SuvenduWB and the BJP leadership for this significant milestone. It is reassuring that in West Bengal, land that inspired India’s freedom movement and has faced challenges like illegal infiltration and law-and-order concerns, the NDA is set to form the government, bringing hope for stability and progress.

I congratulate Assam CM Sri @himantabiswa on the @BJP4Assam securing a third consecutive term in Assam, and on earning a second term as Chief Minister, reflecting continued public trust. I also congratulate the UDF leadership in Kerala and NDA allies in Puducherry on their victories.

Special congratulations to @TVKVijayHQ President Thiru @actorvijay and his party on a resounding victory. Emerging as a credible alternative in his first electoral contest reflects the people’s clear aspiration for change. I wish that he will work with commitment and responsibility to fulfill the expectations of the people of Tamil Nadu.

On the eve of the birth anniversary of B. R. Ambedkar, we bow in deep respect to a visionary who transformed the destiny of India.

Dr. Ambedkar was not merely the architect of the Constitution of India—he was the voice of the voiceless, the champion of equality, and the torchbearer of justice. His life is a living testament to the power of education, courage, and relentless struggle against injustice.
He reminded us that:

“Cultivation of mind should be the ultimate aim of human existence.”

In today’s world, his message is more relevant than ever.
When divisions threaten unity, Ambedkar’s ideals of liberty, equality, and fraternity guide us back to the path of harmony.

Let us remember—rights are not gifts; they are responsibilities.
The Constitution gives us freedom, but it also expects us to uphold its spirit with discipline and integrity.

On this sacred occasion, let us take a pledge:
To fight discrimination in every form
To promote education and awareness
To stand for justice, even when it is difficult
To practice constitutional morality in our daily lives
Dr. Ambedkar once warned:
“We must make our political democracy a social democracy.”
That is our unfinished mission.

Let this Ambedkar Jayanti not be just a celebration, but a commitment—

From the tears that carried hope,
From the silence that endured uncertainty,
Amaravati rises with dignity, carrying the hopes of millions

This is not just another day in our legislative history, this is a moment of restoration. With the Amaravati Bill now passed in both Houses of Parliament, justice has finally been delivered to the people of Andhra Pradesh. Amaravati stands firmly established as the sole and permanent capital of our state. This victory belongs to every citizen who stood with unwavering faith in the NDA government.

On this moment of people’s victory, I pay my heartfelt tributes to Amarajeevi Potti Sriramulu, whose sacrifice laid the foundation not only for our state’s identity but also for the formation of linguistic states in India. His life reminds us that great causes demand courage and conviction.

The soul of Amaravati lies in the sacrifice of its farmers. Over 33,000 acres of land were given not out of compulsion, but out of trust, trust in a vision, trust in a future. That trust has been honored today.

I extend my sincere thanks to Hon’ble CM Sri @ncbn garu, for his clarity of vision and relentless pursuit of Amaravati’s development. I also express my gratitude to Hon’ble PM Sri @narendramodi Ji, and the NDA government for standing by Andhra Pradesh at every crucial juncture. I thank all political leaders and parties who supported this bill in Parliament.

For years, Amaravati was pushed into uncertainty. Policies shifted, farmers were left betrayed, and aspirations were put on hold. Yet, the people did not give up. Their mandate has now found its voice in action.

This is not just the revival of a capital, it is the restoration of self-respect. A capital built on sacrifice, strengthened by resolve, and driven by the dreams of millions.

From this moment forward, Amaravati will stand as a symbol of stability and progress, a people’s capital, and a bridge to the future for generations to come.
