#UAlberta is honoured to host the South African firefighters as they help provide support to the people and impacted communities of our province. Welcome, and thank you for your efforts!
Wyre light off the coast of Fleetwood was first lit #onthiday 1840 to mark the navigation channel and warn of sandbanks. Designed by Alexander Mitchell, it was the first screw pile lighthouse completed. Sadly it is now abandoned and has collapsed. https://t.co/mOJBLEtEWv
@kevinnbass@ClerkOhms That's great! Sometimes, we thrive in different environments. What did and do you like to read? Just curious as I'm an avid reader as well
Crumlin Viaduct opened #onthisday 1857. Designed by Thomas Kennard, it was the tallest viaduct in the UK. Careful calculations and light construction made this the least expensive bridge for its size at the time. Demolished 1960s as part of Beeching cuts https://t.co/V5uvgAfbtK
@Michal4Nrmbrg2@1goodtern Yeah, I'll just try to have empathy in general. At this point, I don't know who or who is not remorseful or who might be listening for that matter. I just found people are more willing to listen to me when they see my empathy is sincere. They expect arguments and are surprised.
@Michal4Nrmbrg2@1goodtern I mean, look at the responses you are getting. Your way is not working. It's only making people angry and upset. If you want to get through to them, you need to show some caring.
@Michal4Nrmbrg2@1goodtern You are deflecting again. If you cared what the shot are doing, you'd care about this woman. She's dying. This is not the way. You are showing callousness not compassion. If you want to make an impact, show compassion.
