Please join us in remembering the life of Janie Ekere, who had a passion for telling the stories of those who often go unheard. She left a legacy of stories covering underrepresented and marginalized communities. https://t.co/jtO5lG03Mt
FLORIDIANS IN #Florida,
Don't let fearmongering stop you from protecting the health and wellbeing of Black women in the state!
For @Hy_LoNews, I reported on how restrictive abortion laws negatively impact Black women the most https://t.co/dnG4wTdHAb
A grassroots coalition of women’s rights groups called Floridians Protecting Freedom is organizing for a statewide abortion amendment on the ballot this November. @RamendaC has the story:

Has Trump looked Harris in the eye at all so far? She’s doing a good job splitting her attention, trying to catch his eye but he’s such a wittle baby he refuses 😂
Did y’all know that the opinion of zionists, much like that of other racists and ethno-nationalists, don’t matter? Arguing is fine but, like, you’re fully allowed to not entertain their rhetoric, and no one should feel bad about that 🤷🏾♀️
Also, even if chairman HAD heard what Crockett said, he literally would not have understood it. I promise. They are speaking different languages. Ironic given that the sentiment was clear as day!
re: MTG v Crockett, smth I see, beyond the continued denigration and dismissal of Black women, is stark cultural & generational differences. Why is this old man who can't hear presiding over anything? How is he the referee when he doesn't even understand the players?
It's also what happens when an entity has, for decades, been a vessel for white supremacy. They allowed MTG to disrespect Crockett because they simply don't value Crockett as person. MTG, however asinine and ignorant, will always be protected by the shroud of white womanhood.
“Tough neighborhood” 🙄 with as little respect as possible, talking points like these that clearly fly in the face of history & morality & those who deploy such rhetoric should not represent us in anyway.
For decades our govt has bombed/etc black people, the ME & others & propped up systems all over that murder these marginalized groups in pursuit of US-dominant world order. There are clearly “some” groups not worth including except as labor/profit-machines 🙄
Florida Democrats have a big year ahead of them! Read about their strategy to make gains November in my latest for @TheProspect https://t.co/xcoQhKWPSV
@TheAtlantic@TheAtlantic the first is a screenshot of your mission statement. Second is from the article on Christian revival. Do lines like these not fly in the face of “reason?” How is it reasonable to claim that Christian metaphysical claims are absolutely true?
I’m confused at this recent turn with this outlet towards proselytizing? Another article today? “American Christianity is Due For A Revival” … since when are journalists/outlets in the business of providing platforms for this type of religious bait??? Did I miss something? 🤔
It took decades for Americans to lose religion. It might take decades to understand the entirety of what we lost, @DKThomp writes: https://t.co/vTJBB2QFF5 https://t.co/gQWdoCu0KP
@TheAtlantic like is this some sort of soapbox series?? It seems like there are much bigger & more important things going on than a decline in Christianity. And even if it is declining, why does the Atlantic care enough to publish so many of these ?
