Chavismo's mismanagement of this crisis is fueling anti-American sentiment among Venezuelans.

If things were managed differently, Venezuelans would right now supporting the U.S. in record numbers.

But the missteps of the current government send sings that U.S. policy is disconnected from the daily suffering of ordinary Venezuelans.
