I am the only progressive candidate running for 12th Ward alderperson. As a lifelong Brighton Park resident, I know what our communities need because I have lived it. https://t.co/DE6Eir3tor
Please consider supporting the Acosta family during this difficult time to help them cover funeral expenses for their son Jasper Acosta.

Today on https://t.co/DXqi6NbSLC:
➡️We sit down with alderman-elect @jessiefor26th and @Ramirezfor12 to hear their plans for their wards.
➡️Chicago's top cop David Brown resigns his post after Mayor Lori Lightfoot loses reelection bid. @pksmid has more.

Today we are celebrating the victories of:
➡️Julia Ramirez on the 12th ward 🎉
➡️Jessie Fuentes on the 26th ward 🎉
➡️Rossana Rodriguez on the 33rd ward 🎉
➡️Carlos Ramirez-Rosa on the 35th ward 🎉
And
➡️Lori Torres-Whitt is going to the runoffs on the 36th ward 🎉
I can’t even start to tell y’all how excited I am to welcome @jessiefor26th, @Ramirezfor12 and hopefully Lori Torres into City Council. Being a leftist Latina in there is very lonely.
I feel a sense of relief. Last year Brighton Park was one of the top ten communities in local school cuts - we will now have an advocate in city council. McKinley Park can actually move forward now with an elected who is going to be serious about environmental justice.
So proud of @Ramirezfor12 & her campaign. We knocked a lot of doors and it was clear that voters were ready for a progressive with a deep love for her people.
A longtime Lightfoot aide sums up her re-election loss: “Lessons: You can’t run on a platform and then completely abandon it. You can’t run against the status quo, and then fill your administration with the status quo. And you can’t be mean to everyone who tries to help you.”
