The Isle of Faces scene with the dragonseeds might be one of the most magically charged moments we’ve ever seen in the #GameOfThrones cinematic universe. You have three dragons gathered at Westeros’ most sacred and mysterious location, surrounded by ancient weirwood trees and the legendary Green Men. It’s also just across from Harrenhal, the most famously cursed castle in the realm, and then Alys Rivers appears on top of all that. For a brief moment, it felt like almost every major magical force in this world had converged in a single place.
In SPECTRE (2015), Christoph Waltz tells Léa Seydoux, “I came to your home once, to see your father.”
Funny enough, Waltz had already visited her family’s farmhouse in INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS (2009). 🎬
