Shamsa and her family are now safe in Dadaab refugee camp after fleeing drought. But there are millions of others in the region who are facing this same deadly mix.

"I like to empower women through my work." Says Fardosa. Ramla's favorite part of her job is empowering women by informing them on different issues.

UNHCR Dadaab Office together with partner agencies organize daily live radio shows through the radio station to keep the refugee population in Dadaab camps informed and answer questions on various humanitarian services.
