🇪🇹 Ethiopia is sliding toward another major war.

Seven armed groups, including former enemies from the last civil war, have formed a new alliance aimed at removing PM Abiy Ahmed from power.

The coalition includes the TPLF, Fano and the Oromo Liberation Army.

And things escalated fast: Tigrayan forces seized the airports in Mekelle, Axum and Shire, forcing Ethiopian Airlines to suspend flights to the region.

The wild part is that some of these groups were literally fighting each other just a few years ago.

Now they’ve apparently decided Abiy is the bigger problem.
