An Iranian official said "the basic outlines of a deal were in place and Trump 'disrupted' the agreed upon negotiating framework and made new demands".
This is Trump's so-called "art of the deal". He has done it for decades. He falsely claims to come to an agreement, then unilaterally changes the terms to benefit himself. He subsequently ignores everything that the deal requires of him, while demanding that the other party still abide by the agreement.
This is why Trump was sued thousands of times throughout his career, by former business partners and clients.
This is exactly how Trump imposed one-sided "trade deals" on countries, then immediately violated them anyway.
Imagine trying to make a deal with this criminal to end a war. It's impossible. Iran understands that any "deal" made will promptly be violated by the US, as soon as it's convenient.
The US empire is agreement incapable.

💥 Carl Zha Explains How China Would Really Fight the United States 💥
Carl Zha argues that people fundamentally misunderstand how China approaches confrontation with the United States because they keep imagining a Hollywood-style military showdown where Chinese fleets sail around the world to fight America symmetrically. But China’s real strength is not global military projection. Its real strength is economic power, industrial dominance, and control over supply chains the U.S. itself depends on.
That is why, when Washington escalated the tariff war and sanctions campaign, Beijing responded not by trying to mirror American military behavior, but by targeting areas where the U.S. is structurally vulnerable. Rare earth exports. Industrial supply chains. Access to materials essential for the F-35, Patriot missiles, and large parts of the American military-industrial complex.
For example, China openly instructed companies operating inside China not to comply with U.S. secondary sanctions targeting Iranian oil trade. In other words, Beijing signaled that American law does not possess automatic extraterritorial authority inside China anymore. That is a major shift in the global balance of economic power.
Carl Zha says China does not need to defeat the United States by copying the American model of empire. It fights where it is strongest: production, industry, trade, and economic leverage. Because in a world still dependent on Chinese goods, Beijing understands that economic warfare may matter more than aircraft carriers.

I’ll be giving some brief remarks tomorrow in Berkeley on why Michael Parenti got it right and why his writings and lectures are more relevant than ever

🚨🇸🇮🇮🇱🇵🇸JUST IN: Slovenia has announced it will not broadcast this year’s Eurovision Song Contest in protest against Israel’s participation, and its national channels will instead air documentaries about Palestine.
🇸🇮🇵🇸 Slovenia's national broadcaster RTV will not air Eurovision this year, replacing it with a dedicated Palestinian programming week titled "Voices of Palestine."
The schedule includes Palestinian films "Gaza's Twins, Come Back to Me," "No Other Land," "The Voice of Hind Rajab," and "The Teacher," alongside political discussion programming.
Slovenia joins Spain in refusing to broadcast the contest entirely, going further than simply withdrawing from competition. RTV cited solidarity with Gaza, saying the decision was made "on behalf of the children who died in Gaza."
Five countries, Iceland, Ireland, the Netherlands, Slovenia, and Spain, withdrew from Eurovision 2026 in Vienna after the EBU refused to put Israel's exclusion to a vote.
Critics pointed to the contrast with Russia, which was ejected in 2022, arguing the EBU applies double standards when it comes to Israel.
“I received direct threats targeting me on my phone from the Mossad, from the Israelis, and they threatened to kill me.”

@MarioNawfal This statement disqualifies you as an analyst on the issue.
And is one of the reasons I won’t be returning to your podcast.
You have an agenda.
And it’s not the truth.
@DrzavljanD Samo da nekaj dodam. Zoran Stevanovič pa vendarle ni antivaxxer. Saj se cepi vedno proti klopu. No vsaj tako je rekel na intervjuju z Bojanom Požarom.
OMG this is insane! A former CIA operative just admitted on camera that the US intentionally armed and relied on Al-Qaeda and ISIS in Syria just to serve Israel's geopolitical interests against Iran. They literally created the ISIS caliphate!
