Our education system is in crisis. Austerity has resulted in years of real terms pay cuts for teachers.

Meanwhile teacher supply agencies are profiting from public funds and exploiting the workforce with pay below national pay scales.

There’s money to invest in military spending and war but 74% of schools have less funding since 2010.
