Anonymous Coach Comments on Florida in Athlon Sports CFB Magazine
“Hiring [offensive coordinator] Buster Faulkner was a home-run move.
“It is such a departure from what anybody in the SEC does offensively, and they’re gonna have a couple games where they have an advantage because everything is so new schematically.”

Watching @StephenGarcia play football was a joyful roller coaster, even for opposing fans like me. Praying for him as he battles cancer. Please consider donating.
Would love it if you guys can find the time to donate to a friend of mine @StephenGarcia who was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. Always been a great dude and has provided so many (especially @GamecockFB fans) with incredible memories!

I’m not sure what any of those questions have to do with the topic of this movie. It is not a Bible documentary, nor does it claim to me. Surely you see the evangelical value of making a foundational theistic argument to those that have never even opened a Bible.
You didn’t answer my question, but I’ll field yours given the limitations of Twitter:
1) Genesis combines several genres, including historical narrative, theological narrative, poetry, genealogy, patriarchal and primeval narrative. Genesis is also not a science textbook. If I said I saw a sunset today, that would be historical narrative, but it would not mean the earth stands still while the sun rises and falls around the earth.
2 & 3) Again, not sure what either of these has to do with the documentary, but sure. I see no conflict with the content of the film and any of your questions frankly.
@Thedon9994@TSOEfilm In the interests of engaging rather than chest thumping and puffery, here’s an atheist’s published perspective on the movie. He seems to find value in it.

The articulate nature of your response reveals your astute intellect. I’m sure you’ve encountered some flawed religious people in your time that produce your resentment and anger. That said, questions about origin, meaning, morality, and destiny are universal to us all. My reaction after seeing the documentary was appreciation for the restraint is exercises in exploring the science underlying origin, asking the inevitable questions that result from the science, but not drawing a conclusion and letting the audience find it themselves.
Respectfully, I believe your conclusions are inaccurate. I’m not sure who “they” are, but the documentary does not discuss, nor does it reject the details of the Genesis account. How did you conclude the BB (which is merely the idea that the universe had a powerful and mysterious beginning) is contrary to scripture? Genesis simply conveys a Creator who “banged” it all in the beginning. If your quarrel is really about the age of the earth (never addressed in the movie) or a hyper literal interpretation of all scripture, then I encourage you to enrich your understanding of context and genre within the biblical text. We all have blind spots and the more learns about scripture, you realize the more you have to learn. God Bless!

How great is it to have an engaged coaching staff that embraces passionate fans rather than alienate them. Thanks Coach and I hope your family feels warmth and welcomed in Gainesville. Go Gators! 🐊
@lPaytonl@CoachJonSumrall The old equipment was double sided half racks and they lacked the space for our players to move in and out freely and spot each other. I also want our Lineman to squat inside of a full cage, which now they can do. This has multiple benefits, the primary one being safety.
3rd quarter nervous energy because you knew it was a possibility, but still passionate.
Late 3rd quarter feelings of dread, but not really surprised given what we’ve seen the entire season and offensive ineptitude over the Mosley regime.
Start of 4th quarter hopeful to flush the bad, but quickly resigned to a predictable outcome.
Mid-4th quarter embarrassment and shame.
End of game dejected, hopeless, and actively rooting the Magic wouldn’t score so the national embarrassment might force organizational change.
@wilblaine@OMagicHQ You don’t score ONE field goal in the 4th quarter because of effort. Talent is not enough in the NBA. You need a viable scheme to generate offense when things get tight. See the ENTIRE SEASON… it does not exist. This was just a microcosm of the entire season.
@colincowherd They have a middle school coach. “pLaY hArDeR”. Zero scheme, adjustments, or gameplan. Orlando Tragic. The players deserve so much better.
