MULTI-AGENCY SECURITY OPERATION NABS MORE SUSPECTS IN MSAMBWENI

The ongoing multi-agency security operation made notable progress today, April 4, 2025, when nine suspects linked to machete-wielding gangs in Msambweni Sub-County, Kwale County, were arrested following an intelligence-led operation.

Upon an extensive search conducted during the operation, the security team recovered various items, including 11 machetes, 5 slashers, 1 hacksaw, 4 knives, 26 sachets of cannabis sativa, 1 toy gun, and 1 pair of scissors, among others.

The suspects have been placed in custody pending processing and arraignment.

NPS continues to urge the public to fully cooperate with the security team by sharing crucial information to ensure the success of this operation.

The National Police Service remains committed to safeguarding the lives and property of all citizens, residents, and visitors by combating all forms of criminal activity.
