Chaired a meeting to review the progress and initiatives of the Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC), an important institution supporting the @MHI_GoI in building a skilled and future-ready workforce for India’s automotive sector.

Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi avaru, India is rapidly advancing towards becoming a global manufacturing hub. Ensuring that our workforce is equipped with the skills required for emerging technologies is central to this transformation.

We discussed ASDC’s work in strengthening industry-aligned skill development, training and certification, apprenticeships, placements, and collaboration with leading automotive manufacturers and industry stakeholders.

ASDC has made significant progress in FY 2025–26, reaching over 5 lakh learners, facilitating more than 2.89 lakh apprenticeship contracts, and expanding its network of training centres and industry partnerships.

The meeting also reviewed future-technology skilling under the MHI Capital Goods Scheme - Phase 2, covering Robotics & Automation, Smart Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, Electric Vehicle Technology, Automotive Sustainability and Automotive Safety.

As India’s automotive sector embraces new technologies, our priority must be to ensure that our youth are prepared for the jobs of tomorrow. Stronger industry-academia linkages, technology-enabled training and greater employment opportunities will help build a workforce that is skilled, innovative and globally competitive.

Senior officials of the Ministry of Heavy Industries and ASDC were present during the meeting.

We will continue to strengthen these efforts in line with PM Modi avaru’s vision of a Viksit Bharat and an Atmanirbhar India.

ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಬಲದಿಂದ ಹೋರಾಟವನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿಕ್ಕಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾವು ಬಿಡದಿ ರೈತರ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಟವನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ದನಿಯನ್ನು ಅಡಗಿಸಲು ಈ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಅಸಾಧ್ಯ.

ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 9,10 ಹಾಗೂ 11 ರಂದು ಬಿಡದಿ ಟೌನ್ ಶಿಪ್ ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿ ಬೈರಮಂಗಲದಿಂದ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಫ್ರೀಡಂ ಪಾರ್ಕ್‌ ವರೆಗೆ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡ ಬೃಹತ್ ಪಾದಯಾತ್ರೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ರಾಮನಗರದ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಮಂಟಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಮುಖಂಡರು ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರ ಪೂರ್ವಭಾವಿ ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಸಿ, ಪಾದಯಾತ್ರೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ವಿವಿಧ ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿ, ಸೂಕ್ತ ಸಲಹೆ , ಸೂಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದೆನು.

ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಜಯಮುತ್ತು ಅವರು, ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕು ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಬ್ಬಕೆರೆ ಶಿವಲಿಂಗಪ್ಪ ಅವರು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಮುಖಂಡರು, ರೈತ ನಾಯಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
