स्वच्छता पर विशेष अभियान 6.0 के अंतर्गत NCUI संघ कार्यालय में दिनांक 16 अक्टूबर, 2026 को स्वच्छता, जनभागीदारी एवं पर्यावरण संरक्षण के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाने के उद्देश्य से रंगोली प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया।

Two-Day Online Leadership Programme for Housing Cooperatives Successfully Concluded
The National Centre for Cooperative Education (NCCE), the training wing of NCUI, successfully organized a two-day Online Leadership Development Programme for Chairpersons, Directors, and Members of Housing Cooperatives across India on 06–07 October 2026.
Over 70 cooperative leaders from across the country participated virtually, creating a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange and collaborative learning focused on building stronger, professionally managed, and technology-driven housing cooperatives.
The programme commenced with an inaugural address by Ms. Deepti Yadav, Deputy Director, NCUI, Mr. N. S. Mehara, Managing Director, NCHF, alongwith Ms. Amita Kumari, Assistant Director, NCUI.
Technical and domain-specific sessions were led by prominent:

Strengthening Cooperatives through Global Learning and Shared Experiences!
NCUI, CICTAB and KSRM have jointly commenced a four-day International Training Programme on “Developing Managerial Skills for Agricultural Cooperatives and Rural Financing Institutions” is being organised from 6-9 October 2026 at KIIT School of Rural Management (KSRM), Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
The programme brings together 25 participants from India, Nepal, Mauritius, Gambia, Liberia and Bangladesh, creating an international platform for knowledge sharing, experience exchange and capacity building in the cooperative and rural financial sectors. The Indian participants from different sectors of various states, adding diverse perspectives and experiences to the programme.
The programme was formally inaugurated at the Seminar Hall, KSRM, in the presence of Prof. Sarbeswar Mohanty, Director, KSRM; Prof. Sukumar Dash, Dean, KSRM; Shri Ritesh Dey, Executive Director, NCUI; and Prof. V. Venkatakrishnan, Coordinator of the International Programme, along with the participating delegates.
The objective of the establishment of an exclusive Ministry of Cooperation by the Government of India and its pioneering initiatives for the promotion and development of Cooperative in India for last 5 years were highlighted by the Executive Director NCUI. The important role of CICTAB for providing such a platform, the initiative of African Asian Rural Development Organisation (AARDO) for collaboration and participation of official from Member countries, Role of NCUI etc. was shared with the participants.
The inaugural session also highlighted the importance of cooperation, rural development, agricultural finance and professional management in strengthening cooperative institutions and promoting sustainable rural development. The participation of delegates from six countries were provided a valuable platform for cross-country learning, sharing of best practices and strengthening international cooperation towards building stronger and more effective cooperative and rural financing institutions.

Building a stronger, cooperative-driven future for India’s dairy sector.
Through White Revolution 2.0, the National Dairy Development Board is expanding opportunities for local farmers, now active across 28,200+ Dairy Cooperative Societies in 31 States & UTs.
On 28 September 2026, a group of 55 MBA students from Inmantel Institute, Ghaziabad, visited the National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI), New Delhi, as part of an educational visit aimed at enhancing their understanding of the cooperative movement and the cooperative model in India.
The students were accompanied by Dr. Mani Kansal, Assistant Dean – Management, and Ms. Nidhi Sharma, Faculty, from the institute.
Shri Rajeev Sharma, Executive Director, National Centre for Cooperative Education (NCCE), NCUI, welcomed the students and faculty members to NCUI. During the introductory session, Ms. Inderpreet Kaur, Assistant Director, NCUI, welcomed the participants and briefed them about the importance of cooperatives.
Shri Rajeev Sharma delivered a presentation on the cooperative model in India, its significance and functioning, and the role of NCUI in promoting and strengthening the cooperative movement. The session provided the students with an overview of the principles of cooperation, the contribution of cooperatives to socio-economic development, and the various initiatives undertaken by NCUI for cooperative education, training and awareness.
The visit provided the students an opportunity to gain practical insights into the functioning of the cooperative sector and understand its relevance in the Indian economy and society.

भारतीय राष्ट्रीय सहकारी संघ (NCUI) में हिंदी पखवाड़ा-2026 के अंतर्गत दिनांक 25 सितंबर, 2026 को हिंदी वाद-विवाद प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। राजभाषा हिंदी के प्रति जागरूकता एवं विद्यार्थियों में तर्कपूर्ण अभिव्यक्ति को प्रोत्साहित करने के उद्देश्य से 'कृत्रिम बुद्धिमता के युग में सहकारिता का भविष्य: अवसर या चुनौतियाँ ' के विषय की प्रतियोगिता में दिल्ली के विभिन्न महाविद्यालयों के विद्यार्थियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया। सभी प्रतिभागियों के प्रदर्शन का मूल्यांकन निर्णायक मंडल द्वारा किया गया तथा उनके निर्णय के आधार पर विजेता घोषित किए गए। इस प्रतियोगिता में प्रथम पुरस्कार श्री मुकुंद तिवारी—पीजीडीएवी कॉलेज, द्वितीय पुरस्कार श्री अमर झा—पीजीडीएवी कॉलेज, तृतीय पुरस्कार सुश्री भूमिका डसीला—जीजीएसआईपी तथा दो सांत्वना पुरस्कार श्री संतोष कुमार—पीजीडीएवी कॉलेज एवं श्री अतुल सिंह—जीजीएसआईपी को प्रदान किए गए। इस प्रतियोगिता के सभी विजेताओं को प्रशस्ति पत्र एवं पुरस्कार राशि प्रदान की गई।

हिंदी दिवस एवं हिंदी पखवाड़ा समापन समारोह-2026
भारतीय राष्ट्रीय सहकारी संघ, नई दिल्ली में 29 सितंबर 2026 को हिंदी दिवस एवं हिंदी पखवाड़ा–2026 के समापन समारोह का गरिमापूर्ण आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम में मुख्य अतिथि डॉ. (श्रीमती) कीर्ति काले, सुप्रसिद्ध कवयित्री एवं लेखिका ने अपने प्रेरणादायी उद्बोधन के माध्यम से हिंदी भाषा के महत्व एवं प्रासंगिकता पर प्रकाश डाला।
इस समापन कार्यक्रम में स्वागत संबोधन श्री रितेश दे, कार्यकारी निदेशक (राजभाषा) द्वारा किया गया। श्री पंकज श्रीवास्तव, आईआरएस, मुख्य कार्यकारी, एनसीयूआई ने अपने अध्यक्षीय संबोधन में राजभाषा हिंदी के प्रभावी एवं अधिकाधिक प्रयोग पर बल दिया तथा सभी से अपने दैनिक कार्यालयीन कार्यों में हिंदी के प्रयोग को बढ़ावा देने का आह्वान किया। हिंदी पखवाड़े के अंतर्गत आयोजित विभिन्न प्रतियोगिताओं के विजेताओं एवं प्रतिभागियों को पुरस्कार एवं प्रमाण-पत्र प्रदान कर सम्मानित किया गया।

The National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI) participated in the Young Girls Co-operative Seminar–2026, organised by the Gujarat State Co-operative Union (GSCU), Ahmedabad, under the leadership of Shri G. H. Amin, Chairman, Gujarat State Co-operative Union and former President, NCUI, on the theme “Co-op Connect & Understanding Prosperity through Cooperation.” The seminar witnessed participation of approximately 900 women students.
Ms. Inderpreet Kaur, Assistant Director, NCUI, New Delhi, was deputed by NCUI as a Speaker and addressed the young participants on the importance and growing scope of the cooperative movement. She briefed the participants about the role of NCUI in promoting cooperative education, training, awareness and capacity building, including the initiatives undertaken through the National Centre for Cooperative Education (NCCE).
The programme was graced by Smt. Darshana Vaghela, Hon’ble Minister for Urban Development and Urban Housing. Shri Dollar Kotecha, Chairman, National Agriculture & Rural Development Banks Federation Ltd., and Shri Milind Kale, Vice Chairman, National Federation of Urban Cooperative Banks, were among the distinguished guests. Ms. Bhawna Jadeja, Chairperson, Women Cooperative Committee, GSCU and Managing Director, SEWA Samiti, was also present on the dais.
The seminar, organised under the guidance and leadership of Shri G. H. Amin, provided an important platform for connecting young women with the cooperative movement and encouraging their participation in cooperative leadership and entrepreneurship, in the spirit of “Sahkar Se Samriddhi.”

The National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI) organised a one-day training programme on “Strengthening Governance, Compliance & Business Development in Cooperative Credit Societies” on 31 August 2026 at NCCE, New Delhi. The programme was organised for directors and employees of cooperative credit societies in association with the United Thrift & Credit Cooperative Societies Federation of Delhi Ltd.
The programme was inaugurated by Shri Rajeev Sharma, Executive Director, NCCE, NCUI, and Shri Sunil Gupta, President, United Thrift & Credit Cooperative Societies Federation of Delhi Ltd. Shri Rajeev Sharma highlighted the business model of cooperative institutions and the role of NCUI in strengthening the cooperative movement. Shri Sunil Gupta welcomed the participants and expressed his gratitude to NCUI for extending support in organising the training programme
During the technical sessions, Dr. V. K. Dubey, In-charge Managing Director, Cooperative Bank of India (COBI), delivered a session on “Cooperative Governance in Credit Societies”, highlighting the importance of sound governance practices.
Shri S. C. Pradhan, Principal, Delhi State Cooperative Training Centre (DSCTC), sensitised the participants on cyber security challenges in cooperative credit societies and measures for addressing emerging cyber risks.
Shri Anurag, Deputy Director, NCUI, spoke on “Strengthening Cooperative Credit through Technology: A Practical Perspective under the National Cooperation Policy, 2025”, emphasising the role of technology in strengthening and modernising cooperative credit institutions.
Shri Sunil Gupta, President, United Thrift & Credit Cooperative Societies Federation of Delhi Ltd., conducted a session on “Various Compliances under Cooperative Societies Act”, covering important statutory and legal compliance requirements.
The programme concluded with a feedback and valedictory session with distribution of certificates.

The Three Days Training Programme on “Cyber Security & Fraud Prevention for Cooperatives” was inaugurated today by Shri Pankaj Shrivastav, IRS, Chief Executive, NCUI, in the presence of Shri Rajeev Sharma, Executive Director, NCCE, at the National Centre for Cooperative Education (NCCE), NCUI, New Delhi.
A total of 23 participants from seven States/UTs—Assam, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Telangana and Delhi— are participating in the training programme.
Addressing the participants, Shri Pankaj Shrivastav, Chief Executive, NCUI, extended a warm welcome to all the participants and emphasised the importance of active participation during the training. He encouraged the participants to interact with the resource persons, engage in discussions and share their experiences. He also urged them to provide their valuable feedback on the programme, which would help in further improving and making future training programmes more effective.
The inaugural session was followed by a session by Shri Rajeev Sharma, Executive Director, NCCE, who provided an overview of the cooperative sector and the role of NCUI.
Thereafter, Shri S. C. Pradhan, Principal, DSCTC, conducted a session on cyber security, types of cyber attacks and cyber threats in digital payments, highlighting the importance of awareness and adoption of preventive measures to safeguard cooperative organisations against cyber frauds.
The three-day training programme aims to enhance the knowledge and awareness of participants regarding cyber security, digital banking and UPI frauds, data protection, cyber threats and fraud prevention measures, thereby strengthening their capacity to deal with emerging cyber risks in the cooperative sector. The programme will conclude on 11 September 2026.

*Empowering Youth Through Cooperatives – Programme Begins*
The National Centre for Cooperative Education (NCCE) of NCUI is organising a 2-Day Youth Cooperative Awareness Programme in online mode from 20th to 21st August 2026.
The programme has received an overwhelming response, with more than 380 participants from 20 States of India and Nepal registering to learn about the cooperative movement, its values, opportunities and role in nation-building.
The programme commenced with the Opening of the Programme by Shri Rajeev Sharma, Executive Director, NCUI, along with Ms. Dipti Yadav, Deputy Director, NCUI, and Ms. Amita Kumari, Assistant Director, NCUI.

As part of its continuous efforts to introduce young minds to the cooperative movement, the Coop Connect Division of NCUI organized an enriching study visit to the Mother Dairy Plant, Patparganj, New Delhi on 17th August 2026, for 37 students and 2 faculty members — Ms. Shikha Rattan and Ms. Taruna Bahl — from Bal Bharati Public School, Pitampura, accompanied by Shri Anant Dubey, Deputy Director, and Shri Naveen Singh from NCUI.
Through this initiative, NCUI aims to help students understand how cooperatives work at the grassroots level and inspire them to explore the values of cooperation, self-reliance, and collective growth from an early age.
The students attended an insightful session by Shri. Renu Kumar Ravindran Pillai, Sr. Superintendent, Mother Dairy, who explained the process of milk processing, packaging, and production of milk & milk products. This was followed by a plant tour where students witnessed live milk processing, packaging, and ice-cream production operations — gaining first-hand exposure to how a successful cooperative enterprise operates.

Strengthening Cooperative Credit through Technology
NCUI, in collaboration with the Gujarat State Co-operative Credit Societies Federation Ltd., organised a webinar on “Technology-Enabled Lending: Understanding the Lending Technology Stack” for cooperative credit societies, with participation from 100+ representatives.
The programme was graced by Shri Ghanshyambhai H. Amin, Chairman, Gujarat State Co-operative Credit Societies Federation Ltd. and GC Member, NCUI, as the Chief Guest. In his address, Shri Amin highlighted the importance of technology, professional management and institutional strengthening for the future growth and competitiveness of cooperative credit societies.
Shri Rajeev Sharma, Executive Director, NCUI, set the context for the programme by highlighting the relevance of the National Cooperative Policy, 2025 and its vision for stronger, professional, efficient and technology-enabled cooperatives.
The keynote presentation provided practical insights into the lending technology stack and its role in strengthening lending processes, internal controls, risk management, efficiency and member-centric service delivery.
The session was moderated by Shri Anurag, Deputy Director, NCUI, and provided an interactive platform for cooperative credit societies to understand the opportunities and practical considerations involved in technology-enabled lending.
