@AkiraToriyama or they stopped forcing traffic towards rainbow content. and the low traffic we are now seeing reflects actual consumer interest in pride themed games
@lord_hyniron@Sayitpop uhm no. bro def aint a victim. trying to make sense of ones actions is not justification.
please stop telling me what i meant by my own words.
@lord_hyniron@Sayitpop wasnt justifying anything, just saying the soda thieves were also in the wrong. the comment about the manager was speculation to help me make sense of the guys actions. not justification.
that's not what i said. i literally said "not saying hie was in the right, but yall cant be steeling sodas" which is NOT contradictory.
a contradiction would be more like "he shouldn't have fired, but actually he was totally in the right and did nothing wrong"
you gotta be doing this on purpose bro. People cant be this dumb. I'm speaking in plain English here.
@lord_hyniron@Sayitpop uhm. no. Saying "this was bad, BUT so was that" is not a contradiction. im also not claiming these crimes are equivalent either, incase you wanted to try and accuse me of that next
you missed the part where later her wrath directly lead to an innkeeper being executed by nilfguard because ciri killed a bunch of soldiers in his inn.
near the end of the 5th book ciri even returned to that inn to face the innkeeper's wife and daughters who harshly scorned her.
there ARE times where interfering makes things worse. and ciri's temper doesn't always work in her favor.
i really hope cdpr incorporates this nuance into the games narrative.
was only speculating that maybe he was pressured by his boss to stop people from stealing soda. he DID take it too far with the gunshots, im not justifying that. but you're usually expected to pay for soda. when you ask for a water cup and use it to get a free coke, that IS steeling, and i don't condone it.
BOTH THINGS CAN BE TRUE AT THE SAME TIME.
we already got stores locking up razers and underwear, do you honestly want restaurants putting cages around soda machines?
what they're referring to is digital licensing. you technically didn't pay to own the game, you paid for the privilege to access the game which the developer could, if they wanted, take away for any reason.
every digital platform is like this even steam. even with physical copies you technically don't own the software on it. just the disk and case.
the software is owned by the developer, and you only paid to access it as long as they allow it. your entire digital library could theoretically be taken from you at the platform or developer's discression.
that way you cant sue the devs if they ban you or take the game offline
