In both Mangalore and Calicut accidents, the First Officers called “Go Around�� multiple times yet the Captain continued. It is likely the Baramati scenario was no different.

Question is, with what conviction does the @DGCAIndia implement SOPs or rules for flight crew members who ignore or over ride such a call from the other voice in the cockpit.

Do your homework please. The world’s biggest aviation disaster in Tenerife is attributed to the actions of an “ace” pilot of KLM Captain Jacob Veldhuyzen van Zanten.

There was likely nothing wrong with this machine. The actions as evident from attempting to land in poor vis shows bad judgement and poor discipline riding on misplaced confidence rather than rules and boundaries.

My daughter’s return to boarding school has turned into a nightmare thanks to @vueling and @HeathrowAirport that misplaced her luggage on 4th Jan and @ecourierair have not been able to deliver from their warehouse since the 6th morning. Her MEDICATION is in the bag but who cares?

IndiGo cannot be contained. It is decades ahead of everyone else with its strategy. Tactical challenges will come and go, just as the one that’s passed. They will learn from mistakes, make changes and adjustments and move on. In another week all will be forgotten.
