Kobe Bryant in 2011
30.7 points (99th percentile)
10.1 box creation (98th percentile)
6.6 passer rating (87th percentile)
2.4 AuPM/g (87th percentile)
4.0 BPM (94th percentile)
still one of the three best players in the world in possibly his most underrated campaign ever.
@IGORNMW@SFsGOAT He missed 16 games in 05 and the lakers had a 25 win pace in them (or 31 based on record) and the whole team was facing injuries
The lakers in 08 had a 56 win pace before the Pau trade in 55 games which is better than any kg team other than 04 (they’re =)
@IGORNMW Kobe has never once been swept in the first round (unless were counting 2013 when he didnt play the playoffs) and he missed the playoffs once before his body completely broke down
Kobe had prime Shaq for a 3rd of his career and 2 of those years he wasn’t even a full time starter
@KyraLifer@SFsGOAT The 08 lakers before the Pau trade had a 56 win pace which is better than literally any team Kg ever had before Boston other than 04
Don’t forget Kobe is an all time playoff riser and KG is not
@Bernardovivas @kawhi_ring Almost every player in nba history is closer to every other player in nba history than they are to MJ peak for peak lol that means nothing
1. Kobe also has injuries in this span that bring down his play
2. Kobe is a bigger playoff riser than wade which widens the gap
3. There are things that the box score can’t capture that also widens the gap in favor of Kobe
4. You have no shame
The craziest part about this graphic is that these are Kobe’s best 10 years (2001-2010 i assume) matched up against DWade’s best 10 years that are filled with injuries and his DECLINE but yet their still comparable
Peak Wade has more than enough of a valid case over peak Kobe
