Bryce Harper talking hitting with Joey Votto
“If you want to hit .300, you have to hit the ball to left field. (Opposite field)” - Votto
Why? This helps you:
- Stay inside the ball
- Ability to let ball travel
- Stay on the ball with body
- Cover middle away part of the zone
Tomorrow is the day for @BaseballLex Wildcats!

Caught well and was excited to end the season playing with my guys at Founders Park!
“Take a look at their landing positions. Do you see any of their hips opened up a bunch? These are all home runs, by the way. You see their shoulders opened up a whole bunch? Or would you say that they look relatively similar?“

@CofCBaseball
Balls need to be driven into the gaps during BP. Your 325 ft HR to the pull side is unproductive and unimpressive. Practice barreling up every ball where it’s pitched to the appropriate gap.
@bhucks17 Thanks Coach but could not have done it without everyone’s help. Thank you to all the coaches and players for bringing encouragement, positivity, and fun each morning for the future wildcats!
Toby Sobieralski (Canes South 17u Scout) hits a single back up the middle to lead off the inning. Quick hands and uses his lower half well. #DBCanesKickoff
