In this scramble for the exits, I'd forgotten to consider that I might be someone people want to follow.

Well, I could be wrong, but better to have it and not need it,

@Crimson0il @FirebombsOnWPD @c4pcwvfqpy @siglidsreich can't they tell it's sterilized?

[Random832 @Random832]

@Cobknoblin @archeofuturist [and this is just as true for the traditional long form pen and paper ways to do operations on large numbers]

[Random832 @Random832]

@Cobknoblin @archeofuturist ultimately the problem is that they've mistaken "this is a useful thing to teach kids" for "this is a reasonable thing to test kids on knowledge of"

the purpose of any method of doing a math problem is to make it easier for them to do the actual math problem

[Random832 @Random832]

@thepancakington @_uojihcin_ ok but how long does it take to get secure enough in iron that you'll casually mine stone with your iron pickaxe instead of saving it for gold and diamonds

how long until you craft an iron axe, an iron shovel, an iron hoe

[Random832 @Random832]

@Cobknoblin @archeofuturist ah but that'd be 9 + 8, not 8 + 9 [i have seen another of these where the child got marked wrong for making a diagram of 3*4 in the form that the exercise would have defined as 4*3]

[Random832 @Random832]

@DracoMenda @cursedconnector you'd be better off soldering a threaded insert into the via at that point

[Random832 @Random832]

@KansaiDorito why did you have to make the lines green

[Random832 @Random832]

@redeuced it's an irregular hexagon, narrower than the one shown

[Random832 @Random832]

@Supercar800 @Jacknight6289 ok but as a non-kryptonian non-wizard which do you have a chance with

[Random832 @Random832]

@ApexImperialist terry is a male name. the entire point of the original comic is that we don't make a big deal when people change their names anyway so why is it different when it's a gendered name

[Random832 @Random832]

@SandyofCthulhu @BellaGaming10 Also each character only has one pronunciation in any particular dialect of Chinese, as I understand it. It's the other languages that give them new pronunciations to fit their own words with the same meaning or multiple borrowings of the same chinese word from different dialects

[Random832 @Random832]

@RorriiiiX21 this would have been funnier as an edit of the meme

[Random832 @Random832]

@vixppappa Just dry them out beforehand, then they can't mold.

[Random832 @Random832]

@ImLukeJamesBish @flatuencer @TerribleMaps maybe but i wouldn't expect an AI to do that well with it [putting all the cities in the right place, and like you said, following county boundaries in NH where they're appropriately sized] unless there was some pre-existing dataset for hypothetical appropriately sized districts.

[Random832 @Random832]

@RealitySalesman I suspect they don't want people doing the paper test because it risks getting the open flame too close to the unit and damaging it, but there needs to be *some* legitimate procedure to test the actual smoke detection.

[Random832 @Random832]

@g_shullenberger @DrAllyLouks @sentientist tbh the fact that the book isn't a wellness scam makes it more legitimate, not less, since there's no risk of someone misunderstanding and taking medical advice from it.

[Random832 @Random832]

@flatuencer @TerribleMaps hmm, it looks like you might be right for NH, but those are way too big to be counties [except the ones near cities] in the midwest. And they're too small to be House districts.

[Random832 @Random832]

@Dr_W_E_Bulmer throwing someone off on the first offense is gonna create people who have nothing to lose by making a scene if you're going to make them late to something important

[Random832 @Random832]

@incestparis @grok @dfgdsfgxcf @justalexoki oh this happens all the time, though usually it answers the question in the original language, since it's not that often combined with the "misdetects english as another language" glitch

[Random832 @Random832]

@FoolAmongFools @BrownTurkeySoc @FabianLiberty we don't accommodate any other "i have panic attacks at the sight of [demographic]" condition.
