The end of March has come around very quickly, the days are finally getting lighter and there has been some lovely weather.
I felt like I could share a selection of photos that I have taken over the last month.

Herberts Travel operate a very interesting and well kept fleet of buses from their depot in Blunham, Bedfordshire, with Olympians, B7TLs and many other great vehicles still in regular use.
I am very grateful to the staff who kindly allowed me to have a look around recently.
@armand_b2002 They have quite a few former London buses which is nice. Stagecoach claimed that operating those routes around Biggleswade was unsustainable for them, so they ceased operations there in late 2022
Earlier, I took a journey on the fairly new X75 service between Biggleswade and Cambridge. It was a very enjoyable scenic trip.
The service was surprisingly well used towards Cambridge, with BU75 WNC being an absolutely brilliant Volvo/MCV Evora, a great example of a modern bus.
@Kieran0502 Wow, that is quite expensive for a bus considering the average is a Β£3 single these days. It's likely worth the extra cost for those who use it regularly due to the time saving
@armand_b2002 It's a nice town, I always enjoy visiting, Stagecoach operated there up until 2022 but all of their routes are now thankfully operated by Grant Palmer, they even own the old Stagecoach depot in the south of Biggleswade which they run the buses from.
@Kieran0502 The X75 has only been around since the start of the month so not many people seem to know about it yet.
The Whippet X1 is apparently quite expensive but it's likely quite useful due to it being much quicker than the alternatives
For my final trip of 2025 I decided to take a quick journey over to Worcester in the West Midlands
It is always nice to travel somewhere different.
I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year π

Several buses around Bedford have been appearing in a new blue colour over the past couple of months.
They certainly look different, with many more expected to be repainted into this colour fairly soon. I'm still unsure what to think of it.
@CBGbusUsers 'Lakes Connection' is much nicer than the new Stagecoach 'Boring Blue' as I call it. I don't even know if it classes as a livery due to the simplicity.
Localised branding is always much better, smaller companies can often achieve this
This evening I was lucky enough to travel on LX56 EAE (36308) on the 25 to Rushden.
The other E200 Darts at Bedford have now sadly been withdrawn, with this one facing withdrawal at any time from now.
These were very nice buses, so it's a shame to see them go.
@armand_b2002 They definitely deserve recognition for maintaining the vehicles to such a high standard, they've proved that with the right maintenance, a bus can go on for a very long time
The time is sadly nearly up for the remaining E200 Darts at Bedford Depot, with replacements due relatively soon.
Some of them started their lives in London nearly 20 years ago, these have been great vehicles which have lasted very well.
@armand_b2002 It doesn't feel that long since they went at all, it's definitely nice that they lived on for a while.
They were maintained to a very high standard which helped some of them reach 20
I've just been notified that its now been 5 years since I started this account, it was still officially known as Twitter back then.
A lot has changed in that time, but my passion remains the same
I would like to thank everyone who follows my account.
