One thing you can do to give yourself a slightly better experience is to make sure that the game is downloaded to your Switch's internal storage.

You can change where games live by going to System Settings > Data Management > Move Data Between System / microSD Card. Games in system memory usually have ~10% better load times, and fewer texture pop-in issues.
